Their worker was angry and rude for some reason unknown to us but the kicker is when he intentionally damaged, and I mean using his tool to mangle the inner part at the hem of our heater and said, "Now it's condemned!". It's like he had a personal vendetta against us. We have never met this person!

I’m writing an edit here in response to your reply to my review because I couldn’t figure out how to respond directly to you.

I am disappointed that instead of calling me for more information or try and resolve this, you felt it better to discredit my husband’s experience and this review. You too weren’t there either and we did take pictures too. We are not HVAC specialists so I can’t speak to what he did right or wrong but we were forced to hire another company and I can tell you Patrick’s report is questionable. But I understand different people may assess the same issue differently so that’s not the point here. What bothered us most was how rude he was to my husband and the way he talked to him. While, like you say, he followed protocol to shut the heater down, he could have communicated that instead of the angry “Now it’s condemned!” Please tell me you see what I mean because I take no joy in writing this review. And I would appreciate it if you at least called and tried to understand what happened other than discrediting this experience.

We purchased two mini-split AC units Preferred Air and we love them. The company is great to work with. Someone always answers the phone, they are friendly and honest. The on-site crews were efficient, polite and tidy. They left no mess behind in our home. Preferred Air even submits your warranty info and emails you the info for your files. I can't recommend them enough.

Preferred Air is a great company. Mike and Sal arrived Monday morning to replace my existing Furnace and A/C unit. Late Monday morning, as Mike and Sal were unpacking the new Furnace, they noticed it was damaged, and told me right away (which I truly appreciate). After getting a new Furnace and A/C to start the install, everything went smoothly. Mike and Sal are 2 very hard working guys.

The house that we purchased has split units for heating and cooling with electric baseboard that we use as a backup. While a split unit system is easy to use and extremely efficient, this particular system has been plagued with leaks. We contacted Preferred air to identify the problem and address it. The first service call did not address the problem and two days later the system was blowing cold air (instead of warm). I contacted the company. They went above and beyond to send out a second crew and address the issue. I'd like to think that I was reasonable with them, and Preferred Air was incredibly responsive. Their techs are knowledgable, diligent, and patient in explaining the work they they have performed. They earned a five star review by going the extra mile. Highly recommended.

I had a service contract that I paid nearly 3000.00 for. Preferred air never showed up. I called them and they told me that I was supposed to call them to set up a time. I asked well if I didn’t call you would you keep my 3000.00? The call center employee said yes, YOU must call us. She was inflexible when I said but I paid preferred 3000. The I had a problem and I called preferred Air. They came, charge us 203.00 for a service call and the Tech told my wife that we need a new unit at a cost of approximately 8000.00. The very next day I received a docu sign contract for OVER 16,000.00 without even a call or explanation. I sent an email telling Preferred Air that I was dissatisfied and I received a response from the owner Tom Fazzava telling me that I was a business man and the “tech” had no right to quote a price essentially demeaning this Texh who was a good guy! Don’t walk, run away from Preferred Air. The owner is aweful to his employees and has zero customer courtesy!!!!

Preferred Air was one of three contractors that I requested a quote to install a ductless split type AC/Heat Pump system in my house. Right from the start of requesting the quote and the subsequent visit to my house to do a walk through, to installation every person I dealt with was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Betty Jo Tremblay handled the quoting process and walk through and was very responsive in getting me the original quote and a requote when we decided on a change. The two men that did the installation (sorry forgot their names) were professional, polite, knew what they were doing, cleaned up and we’re here everyday on time. They installed all the wall units in the house and cleaned up after the work was done. Once the system was installed Patrick Packard came by to charge the system, get it up and running and go over the operation of the unit with us. He was very patient and did a great job showing us how to operate the wall units and remotes correctly.

I would highly recommend Preferred Air.

Preferred Air has been installing Central air in my home all this week. I have never had ducts of any kind so this was a total install. I'm so impressed with the quality, professionalism and neatness of the 2 main installers, Jay and Jeff, and Wayne who came to help one day. Tom, the owner came on day 1 and together they laid out the finalized plan of where all the equipment would be placed. This is one of the few times I've had big projects done in my home that I know I chose the right company! I totally recommend Preferred Air - my only regret is I didn't hire them sooner!

Preferred Air just installed AC at my house over the last two days. Shaun, Tyler and Boris did a fantastic job. Very professional and courteous. They kept the job site clean and neat both days. The system they installed looks great and works perfect. The best thing is that it runs whisper quiet. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a new AC system.

I hired Preferred Air to do a complete furnace and A/C replacement for my home, and I couldn't be more pleased. The business folks were knowledgeable and helpful. The install team was clean, efficient, and conscientious, and issues that arose during the process were communicated clearly. My questions and concerns were addressed promptly. Shout out to Wayne, Rob, Luis, and the others who helped make this process as painless as possible.

We just had our second Split Duct system installed by Preferred Air.
They do wonderful work. Both installations look great and work fantastic.
All the people we dealt with were very professional. As a result of our experience with them my folks, my daughter and four different friends also had systems installed bu Preferred Air. They are all very happy.
