I usually don't write reviews but I just have to this time.
Als Oil is by for the best customer service I have ever received. Every single worker was extremely helpful, professional, and patient. They worked 12 hour shifts just to make sure I had heat. I am beyond grateful for Als Oil and the team. Thank you SO much for everything!

I have been a loyal customer since 2003. I have never had a problem. I am on automatic delivery and to date have never had a problem. They maintain my furnace and call me to setup an appointment for cleaning if I forget. A few years ago I had them replace my furnace. They did a great job. I highly recommend. Great company. Great staff.

Als Oil is great! I have used them for about a year for oil delivery and also just had a new oil tank, furnace and water heater installed by them. They did an exceptional job, use top notch brands and all staff are incredible. Competitive but reasonable prices. Install was done in one day. Consistent, fast, and quality service. Highly recommend them if you are looking for the best in the area. I could not be more happy with their service! A++++

I’ve been a customer for 6 years and never had to worry about oil. Their automatic deliveries and customer usage models were spot-on.

Then my tank leaked only 11 days before closing on the sale of the home! Bad timing! It was a 54 year old tank (way too old!)

Friday: leak discovered, called Al’s. Technician came over within hours, put a patch on it, and recommended we call the office Monday to do a replacement.

Saturday: leak persisted past the temporary patch. I called for emergency service. Tech shows up within a couple of hours on an OFF-HOURS WEEKEND CALL and pumped it all out into barrels. They leave us a small vessel for the burner line so we can take hot showers.

Monday: I call the office in the morning. They know the urgency of my closing date and tell me they will be over at noon to replace the tank. They charge me a decent regular price for tank replacement. I pay it immediately. They tell me not to pay for the other visits yet, as they can combine some of that work with tank replacement. They tell me to call the office. I wait for the bill.

3 weeks later: Home sale has closed and I get a bill for roughly 500 for the emergency work I didn’t pay for yet. I call the office to ask if they would be ok with reducing it (in my mind, they deserved every penny). THEY WIPED ALL OF THE CHARGES from my account and saved me $500! I have to assume it’s because they stick to all of their promises, go above and beyond, and it’s just what they do! No additional charge for that, just fair and decent prices.

Al’s pulled my tail from the fire. I am a loyal customer now and for the foreseeable future.

Al's Oil Service is truly impressive. After receiving 3 different quotes, Dave proposed the best work, and his team executed the job superbly. They are a team of hardworking individuals who take pride on a job well done. We are really glad we chose Al's for replacing our (very old) boiler, hot water heater, and oil tank. Made an appointment to have my furnace cleaned, they gave me a window of 0830-1200. I took the day off from work waited all morning with no call and no show. Finally around 1215 I called to ask what was happening the guy told me “oh sorry we had a lot of no heat calls this morning” and that he was waiting for the next available service man to call him and send him to my house. The man told me that he would call me within a half hour to let me know when someone was coming. 45 min go by again with no call and then 2 service men randomly show up at my house saying it would take them an hour to an hour and a half to complete the cleaning. Unfortunately I had to go to another appointment and wasn’t able to have them do the cleaning. The service guys gave me a receipt saying “ Client requests re- schedule” I called back the office to make sure I wasn’t charged for this and the man assured me I wouldn’t be! I planned on making another appointment but I asked what they were able to do for me given I had to take a day off from
Work and had to sit around the house all day. They offered to give me 10$ off my cleaning. We decided to go with another oil company, one that values their customers and stands by their word. It’s sad that no one is accountable or takes pride anymore. I would have completely understood if they gave me a call explaining or putting me into another time bracket or gave me
The option to reschedule so I could carry on with my day, but the fact that they just completely never informed me was terrible.

Looking for a/c repair on Yelp, this place came up, so I sent them a message. They replied wanting to set up a phone consultation, which I did. Shortly after, they sent another message saying they'll only work with me if I'm buying oil from them. Nothing in the house I live in burns oil, I just wanted my a/c fixed to endure a heat wave. But that apparently wasn't a good enough reason. obviously, It's just all about the dollar to this business, and not helping people. If I ever do need to buy fuel oil, I WON'T be calling them.
