I was having some issues with my boiler and decided to give the Service Corp a call. They were very cooperating and understanding of my current situation, and sent someone out to take a look. The service was outstanding and I liked the customer service as Nate was very professional and even went the extra length to explain to me what is wrong and how he would be fixing it. Overall I definitely recommend the Service Corp. Fantastic service.

We woke up to no heat and no hot water the Tuesday before Thanksgiving 2019. We had plane reservations for St. Louis to celebrate with family. So, we locked up the house and went to the airport to catch our flight. The Friday after Thanksgiving, I called asking for emergency service on Sunday when we were back. Somehow the fact that we lost heat on Tuesday seemed to invalidate our eligibility for emergency service. “You want us to come when it’s convenient for you.” “I am not going to drag someone out on a Sunday and pay him OT.” I was offered Monday afternoon. When I objected (pleaded might be a better word) it became Tuesday … or Wednesday … or Thursday. I cannot do justice to the anger in Nathan’s voice. There was unprovoked, inexplicable hostility. We had been a customer for 23 years. I got off the phone with Nathan stunned but mostly hurt. Obviously they are a vendor and we are a customer … not best buddies … but I thought there was some sort of relationship there. We found someone else to do the work (thankfully … the house temperature dipped into the 30s). Needless to say, we have moved on from the Service Corp. I had seen reviews in the past (when they were called the Service Department) describing similar experiences. I dismissed them … so I guess that is on me. Or perhaps Nathan was having a bad day, and I was simply collateral damage. In any case, I have a family and need someone we can trust.

So disappointed in The Service Corp. we’ve had them servicing our boilers at homes & businesses for years. Recently, our boiler blew and flooded our basement. We called service Corp, and they came as an emergency call right away- awesome right? They shut the water off, told us we need a new boiler immediately and said they’d get us a quote the next day. And the $185 emergency service fee would be applied to the new boiler installation-again, awesome right? They left and we never heard from them. I called, emailed, filled out contact form on their website, left messages. Nothing- no response. They left us with no heat & hot water. After a week of waiting to hear from them- we called another service company that helped us right away. This is how you treat your loyal customers? We supported this company bc they were a local, small business for over 30 yrs. Never give them our business again.

Excellent company, the staff is outstanding. They were extremely accommodating even when I change my appointment time. He did a very thorough check and made recommendations. It ran quieter then it had in ages after he left. I would highly recommend them.
