I had an old water heater...my wife was afraid it would go and ruin everything in our basement. I got Craig Costa's name from a client and called on him. After discussing the water heater and it's age (14yrs) he said replacing it now with a new higher effieciency heater would be in our best interest. He came out with 2 days of our initial conversation and replaced the water heater in a couple of hrs. Very nice, professional and cleaned up everything.....took the other heater away and called a few days later to see how everything was and if we needed him to adjust the temperature for us....highly recomend this company!

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a plumber and I am very thankful that he did not step foot on the job to actually do some work. I am a general contractor who has dealt with plumbers for 25 years and never had a problem like this. The 1st phone call seemed fine and then promises were made, price was given and job was scheduled. I stressed to Craig the owner of Costas Plumbing that there was a disabled elderly gentleman whose boiler was no good and this was a bank job because the property was bank owned and that it was net 30 days after completion for payment. He informed me that that was fine and he sent a Tech over to the job to look at the boiler, the tech stated a price to replace the boiler and I scheduled a time to meet his employee to give a check to him and sign a contract. The next day I got a call from Citizens Bank stating that a woman had tried to deposit my check into a personal account, I am very thankful for Citizens Bank catching this because it could have been a very expensive mistake. I proceeded to call Craig and tell him the information and he said that I would have to go and meet his employee and give cash. I do not operate my business this way and can't understand how anybody else could, he hung up on me and told me to find somebody else. I don't understand how anybody can be in business that acts this way to customers. I would not recommend hiring him to even fix a leaky faucet, if his work is anything like his skills speaking to customers, then it could be quite scary and expensive.
