Robert was great. Very efficient and arrived same day. He diagnosed and fixed our tankless hot water heater. We had family visiting so it was much appreciated. He additionally explained some common issues that can occur and preventative maintenance.

Bob from Coelho heating and plumbing has done the best job for the best price point a plumber can do... And I've hired lots of them (ask via PM and I'll tell you). I have hired many due to the age of my house and the fact I needed constant upgrades.... Bob has installed a brand new energy efficient boiler, rough plumbed a bathroom, and fixed numerous issues (like changing from an old 3 knob tub/shower with diverter valve to new shower valve- because the old one died) that are required in an old house. 5+++ stars. A couple of years ago I contracted with Mr. Coelho to remove and replace the 50 year old boiler in my Fall River Victorian. He had the old monster out, and the new one in in one day. Getting the old one out was a real challenge but he stayed with it till the final heroic push up the basement steps.

This past summer I woke up to find water in the basement and not hot water at the taps. Bob walked me through a rough diagnosis, stopped at my house on the way home from a job to confirm it, and showed up the next morning with a new gas hot water heater.

And this afternoon, on the way out to shovel out from an 8 inch snowfall, I began to wonder why my radiators were cold. I checked the furnace and all was cold. I called Coelho and left a message, not altogether hopeful at this point. He called back in like 10 minutes. We talked on the phone for maybe 20 minutes while he had me do a couple of simple diagnostic tests and decided that while the fault was a minor sensor, that I had best leave it to him. Fine with me at my age. 30 minutes later he pulls up outside in the family 4x4. 20 minutes later he has fixed the faulty sensor, the boiler is getting hotter by the minute and all is well. It's now 3 hours later, the house is cozy warm, and I am very glad I had him put the new furnace in the first place.
