Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning

Initially I was concerned due to the poor reviews however, I could not have been more wrong. I have used them 3 times and every time, they went above and beyond. They are reliable, able to communicate and accommodate due to scheduling issues on my end. Super friendly and up front with all the changes and costs associated with it.
The poor reviews do NOT do them justice. This is a 5+ star company that provides good, honest, quality service.

This is the most poorly run company in Shreveport. Avoid at all cost. They are contracted with American Shield and my daughter had no option. She has a special needs child and has been without AC for 10 days. It took two days to return a call. She was told the part that they ordered had been there for 2 work days but since she wasn't called, it would be the next week before they could install it. The repairman who initially came also fried the wires to the furnace fan that he insisted on starting. The office staff are incompetent and uncaring.

Was assigned this business by AHS with the direction to contact to schedule an appt. First, the name given to me by AHS doesn't match the businesses name. Second, AHS didn't supply the phone number so I needed to Google map the number. Thirdly, I've been calling for over two hours to set up an appointment. They won't even answer the phone. I even left a message.
With all the previous negative reviews, how is AHS even doing business with this company anymore?

I was kinda worried that AHS assigned them to us after seeing their 2.5 stars on google but our hands were tied as the only other contractor they could've sent was 3 weeks from having an opening. I have DELT with American Home Shield for several years and know how difficult they can be. Often times (but not always) contractors take the heat for AHS's poor operations and customer service, which we found to be the case here. Comfort Heat&Air came out, had parts on hand and got our A/C running again within 30 min. They even took time to clean the entire outside condenser unit to assist the A/C with future efficient operation. They went the extra mile to make sure we got the most use out of out system. Referred by American Home Shield. I was apprehensive at first because of all the bad reviews. I had no problems; repairman arrived at scheduled time...assessed unit needed repairing; replaced part. After about an hour I noticed the unit was not generating heat . i called the office; receptionist was professional said she would have them return that day but did not know what time. The end result was having to have a new unit installed. They guys that did the installation were very professional and arrived at scheduled time.

From my experience this company is completely unprofessional and has made racist comments to me about the people at American home shield customer service and called them liars and Idiots, would recommend AGAINST using this company for anything, the person that awnsers the phone is un-human,rude and disrespectful. Reached out to local news my experience was so bad .

I have used them for many years. I have been very pleased with their expertise and professionalism.
They replaced my entire outside condenser unit and evaporator coil yesterday, I am very pleased!!

Wish I could give them no stars! I hate that AHS uses them, though I'm trying to change that. Got their info on a Thursday evening for a service request. By Friday at noon, no one had called. I called and got a very rude woman who acted as if dealing with customers was a huge waste of her time. She stated they couldn't get to me until Monday and hung up. I tried to call back multiple times to explain that no one could be there until after 2 in the afternoon, but never got anyone. I left a message and attempted more phone called Friday afternoon, but none were returned. Monday morning, I started calling at 8 a.m. and finally got someone at 8:30 when they told me my appointment was scheduled for sometime between 8-noon that day. I said that wasn't going to work and was very rudely told that I have to be available when they are (which is not what my contract states). I have never dealt with a company so rude and it makes me wonder how they are even in business. DO NOT USE!!!!!

This company came to our house as part of our American home shield home warranty when our AC broke. If I could give zero stars i would.
The guys who came out were nice. However they talked to me like I was an idiot. They stated that there was no refrigerant in the system. There was. They also stated that the system takes 9lbs of refrigerant. Seems excessive for such a tiny system. They charge $80 per pound of refrigerant. Our home warranty only covers $10 of that. They get this stuff at $20/lb and mark it up beyond what's reasonable.
The woman I talked to at the office was absolutely rude. When asked if we could have them install the part needed but purchase our own refrigerant from someone with a reasonable price she flipped out.
You can't charge people so much and then be surprised when they can't afford it.
Terminated our service with them and took the cash out option from our home warranty company to purchase and install a new in it on our own.

Stay away from them.

I think a lot of people are rating American Home Shield and not Comfort Heating and Air. My AC went out last Friday. The only reason it didn't get fixed until today is because AHS sucks. Also, I don't know if the receptionist everyone is complaining about has been fired recently, but the lady I spoke with today couldn't have been friendlier. The two fellas who fixed my AC were on time, professional, and did the work pretty damn quick. I would definitely use them again and if anything I'm considering getting rid of AHS and going with a different warranty.
