I've been a bit hesitant on writing this...I had my Geo thermal Trane/water furnace replaced by Stivers HVAC right at 5yrs ago now. I was told by the salesman, Ricky Stivers, that this is the top of the line unit! The total price on parts and labor was along the lines of $10K!
Not too long after the install we developed an issue and the unit quit working... Stivers HVAC sent out a tech to "repair" the issue?? They said that the expansion valve had gone bad, they replaced it under warranty. While doing the repair they experienced difficulty and had 6-8 different techs and vans at my house?? So another 3-6 months go's by and ac stops again and again (always an issue with the unit..) By this time I have lost faith in Stivers HVAC and I called another local Trane dealer to look at the unit. They come out and show me that the expansion valve and dryer that Stivers installed is completely wrong for my unit. I call Ricky Stivers personally and tell him of my issues... HE PROCEEDED TO CUSS ME OUT AND TOLD ME TO CALL HIS LAWYER!!!!! So now that this is 5yrs later and my GEO unit is completely out, I am looking for a NEW HVAC SERVICE COMPANY and it WILL NOT BE THIS ONE!

I got several quotes and the quote was great for a trane HVAC system! The guys that did the install were incredibly professional. I still don’t know how they took out the 30 year old furnace and installed everything in such a tight space without making a giant mess, but they did. There was a small amount of clean up involved, but whatever. It’s winter now, so I don’t know about the AC but the new furnace they suggested is keeping this house toasty! Thanks again guys!

Stivers took care of us when the temperature bottomed out and our furnace wouldn't keep us warm. The problem was complicated, but the hvac tech returned three times until he had it figured out, and got the needed part and installed it as soon as things opened after Christmas. The tech was under enormous pressure due to the number of people whose heat had gone out, but he remained polite and determined to solve the problem despite working 18 hour days.

Stivers installed system is three years old in a new home. This will be the 5th or 6th service call tonight. The on call tech tried to talk me into waiting until tomorrow, then complained about how far he was going to have to drive. I would not recommend Stivers to anyone.

The AC at our office stopped running. Called and front desk staff was incredibly kind, our office was put on the schedule same day! We received a call when the technician was on the way. The technician came, filled our unit with refrigerant because it was a little low, stayed and tested vents blowing, then waited a little longer out in his van just to be safe. So kind and clean, both technicians put boot covers on before coming in our office. Great experience and will be using them again in the future!

They came out very friendly service. Install the whole new unit in a very timely manner.
They were very knowledgeable about the product.I would recommend them to anyone.

Horrible company, our home is only 2 years old and our HVAC is out yet again!!! They installed the system, and the mechanics are not what fails, it’s their installed equipment and service
