First worked with Tyler who is friendly and helpful, fixing my heat when it went out in April. Not only were they out the next morning when I called at night, when the same issue happened but with my AC just this week I called they were out next morning and Tyler let me know I was looking at a new system needed.
They got my system in and replaced within a couple days and once again super friendly and helpful on the AC replacement. Appreciated all of Jerry and Will's hard work and helpfulness getting my new system running and my house cooling off!
I don't look forward to repairs but Rod's makes it easier with good prices and great services done by great people!

Contacted a half-dozen companies when my A/C began freezing up in late spring, all but Rods Cooling put my installation weeks into the future, but Rods managed to fit me in in a very timely manner.

My Goodman system was state of the art, but the service technician had access to Goodman's system installation department, conducted himself professionally with their techs, and worked out technical concerns in a timely manner.

My system has been installed for > 6 weeks now without issue, and though I paid a little more for the 20 SEER system, I couldn't be happier with the performance, efficiency, and how quickly my house cools.

In total there were 4 primary workers who all worked well as a team, the system took about 12 hours to install, but they removed the old and installed the new and cleaned up any mess as they went.

I spoke with Rod and he gave me a price on a new Goodman furnace that fit my budget. I had him install the furnace for an agreed price in a rental in Wichita. There were a couple of challenges initially with the flue and the cap. He replaced them for the initial agreed price and we made it through the winter just fine. Very happy with the results and now going to have AC work done by Rod's.

If there was an option I would give five stars SOLELY for the customer service I encountered with this company. I would give them a ONE STAR due to an incorrect diagnostic of our unit. Resulting in the three stars I have given.
We noticed our AC unit wasn't cooling our house and we knew we'd need to have the professionals come out and check to see what could be the problem.
Brandon and Willis were the two gentlemen who ended up coming to our house. They explained that our compressor had went bad due to it running low on refrigerant which inevitably resulted in the compressor having irreversible damage. After they looked at the cost of repair versus replacement (and saying the unit was old) it would be beneficial to have the system replaced in its entirety.
The price we were quoted seemed high and before we'd accept their proposal we did what I thought was the best thing to do and called a secondary company for a second opinion.
The two men that arrived later that night spent a total of 15 minutes doing their diagnostic testing and came to the conclusion that it was the capacitor that had went bad. The part that worked with the fan was fine, but the part for the compressor was shot. They changed the capacitor out and it has been working beautifully since.
We were confused as to why Brandon and Willis didn't check the capacitor (although they said they had) or even try further to fix the unit. Rather they turned on their salesmen pitch and went down that road. It's disheartening to know that we could have had our house cooled hours earlier if they had taken their time to do the right thing.

The next morning we received the invoice/proposal and I declined it. I called their company and Karlie is who I spoke with.
I cannot begin to put into words what a professional and genuine employee she is. Not only did she apologies for things well out of her hand, but she waved our diagnostic fee due to the gentlemen not doing their job correctly. Her tone was never once defensive and was truly sincere over the whole situation. She went above and beyond and is a TRUE ASSET to the company. THANK YOU KARLIE!!

This was our experience with the company. Despite the wrong diagnostic, the customer service was genuine and felt that Karlie took care of us. The company will still be in our back pocket for future problems if and when they arise solely due to her. Again, thank you Karlie.
