MIKE'S & SAPPIO'S HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING

Our house was built in 1992 and AC was becoming more and more inefficient as well as furnace. We had several bids before going with Mike & Sappio. Their company bid far more reasonable than any other one. All others suggested furnace upgrades we did not need. They wanted to upgrade our AC to a higher tonage which is not good depending on the square footage of your home. Mike & Sappio pointed out several issues with a return exchange being on the basement floor trapping a lot of our cold air downstairs as well as diverting our sump pump drain to not shoot dirty water directly into our brand new AC Unit. They caught issues neither other company mentioned and made additional suggestions such as insulating our garage attic for our own information to further our homes efficiency. Their warranty was unsurpassed. Amoung other things a Lifetime Warranty on the heat exchange on our gas furnace and five YEARS labor. They were able to schedule our install the following week and were very conscious of our home. They used rugs on the carpets to protect them and cleaned up any mess they made. They were friendly and professional and made sure to answer all questions we had. The job was completed in ab 8 hrs which impressed me. I will absolutely recommend them to everyone I know and was referred to them myself by a friend who also replaced a full system last summer. In 20 years of home ownership and multiple homes at that I felt they were upfront and honest. They in no way tried to scam me or sell me unnecessary upgrades and I did most of the business bc my husband worked prior to install day. Very happy with them and am pleased to find a regular HVAC company I do not have to pull teeth to work with. Don't hesitate to call them. Family owned company with 50 yrs in business.

A/C wasn't blowing cool air. Phil came out and found the issue immediately. Showed me the proper way to clean a condenser and also addressed an issue on my thermostat. He definitely exceeded my expectations. Many thanks to the M&S HVAC team.

I called Friday morning to schedule a tech to come out and look at our broken air conditioner. The woman on the phone told me that the soonest someone could be out was Saturday after lunch as the morning was booked. I was completely okay with that, I understand I called on short notice, however, no one ever showed up or called to let me know that no one was coming. My husband and I sat at home all day waiting for someone who never showed up. I called and left multiple voice messages and no one ever returned my calls. Needless to say I will be going with a different company for my AC needs.

Was told I had a bad heat exchanger. The technician seemed uncertain and flipped through a training manual to show us a picture of what was wrong. I asked to have a 2nd technician come out. First they didn't call first. Second the technician asked if he could take the cover off before I got there which I agreed to. When I got home, there were 2 holes in the heat exchanger that were not there the last time the cover was off (a week ago). Funny how now there are holes in the heat exchanger. There is NO way I'm going to pay this company to replace my furnace now.

I had no air and my heater was going out. Philip McGregor came out and in one day I had both installed. Phil was so wonderful and friendly. He did an excellent job and now I'm comfortable and I owe it all to Phil and Mike's and Sappios. Thanks guy.

Kenneth showed up on time to fix my furnace. Found some issues. He explained my options clearly. He was attentive to detail and knew my 30 plus furnace. Very reasonable.
And affordable.

I had almost the same thing happen as Susie D did, except when they took my old furnace out, I took the heat exchanger out to look for holes or cracks and couldn't find any. When I called Mike's & Sappio's, they sent out the original technician who refused to repair my furnace because it had a "bad" heat exchanger. He looked over, under, inside and out and couldn't find one hole or crack. In my opinion, these people are scamming you if your furnace is a little older than average. If I were you I'd stay away from being ripped off.

This company is very inconsistent. Poor communication and customer service. I have had two instances in which the receptionist has been rude and unprofessional simply because I needed to report an issue. Both included raising her voice and critiquing my management. They - might - fix the problem, but they surely will not treat you well.

I had a great experience with Mike's & Sappio's. They were able to work me in on a busy Monday and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem with our furnace.

Master HVAC license holder Phil McGregor is the ultimate craftsman. He can build anything out of sheet metal. If you are needing a great looking quality installation of your heating and or cooling system I would highly recommend you sit down with Phil so he can discuss all your options.
