They provided good work when they came, just often unreliable. The office was unresponsive to begin with, and the technician missed or was late for several appointments without first calling to let us know or reschedule.
Made a call and the lady who answered the phone was rather rude for a customer trying to get info asking simple questions. She had the nerve to say we don't have X-ray glasses to know what we have to do. I think for a company to have an individual taking calls in such a manner should really have a talk with her as my business is definitely going elsewhere after this experience.
Three times over the course of 7 we tried to order parts for our home's HVAC system. All we needed was a blower and motor. Two times they were very confused about this and had to talk to the boss, the one time we did get to talk to the boss, he also didn't seem sure about how this might work. He did, however, promise to get the parts ordered. However, on our fourth call (three days after we spoke to the boss) to check on the status of our parts, there was still a lot of confusion among the office staff about the order. We keep getting told that they're too busy and will handle our request later. We've decided to order from an online vendor. We found one where we were able to cross reference our unit's model and serial number and get a list of all the proper parts for our unit. They shipped the parts within hours.
If a -5 rating were possible, that is what they would get. Used them to perform various home inspections on a home we purchased, to include a sewer line inspection. Sewer inspection passed with flying colors. We did not know at the time they were to have provided a video from when they camera'd the line, showing it was clear. Fast forward 18 months... We ended up paying a different plumbing contractor (Blue Dot did a fabulous job and took care of us very quickly) to dig up part of the sewer line and replace it due to extensive tree roots which had broken the clay line. We did not use College Hill to do the repair because Keith was always "out of town" and would never call me back to discuss the issue and they could not produce a video of the inspection. We're pretty certain an "inspection" never took place. Especially as they told us the sewer line ran straight out in front of the house, which it does not at all. Shame on you College Hill.
Nice, Keith. I think the level of effort you expend at attempting to refute what happened says it all. Not trying to promote one business over another, simply statimg facts. Oh, and the city did come out and jet the line. And "auger out tree roots"?? In a clay line that extends over 200'?? Hahahahaha. Your attitude in your esponse to my review is why you got a bad review in the first place . Good job.
Make sure to call for a city inspection after having them do any work, most of the time they don't call city inspection and so they get away with not following safety violations like letting a gas line go through a HVAC return duct. Putting human lifes in danger is not something I would want from a company thats doing up my house lines.
Shout out to Todd for being a fabulous employee and getting our AC up and running in a matter of 2 hours. He went above and beyond any other tech has for us !

College Hill Pizza Pub would not have been open without all to the good service for Keith Smith and his crew.
