I recently obtained a property in Topeka and needed an after regular hours service call to be done immediately because a plumbing problem caused water to get inside the unit and a “crackling” sound could be heard. At the suggestion of the plumber I called college hill because their business stickers are on the hot water heater and the HVAC unit. The concerns were safety and potential harm to the unit itself. Call rolled to call center. I was met with rudeness, sarcasm, disrespect and refusal for a technician to come. I had the call on speaker so the plumber could answer any technical questions to clarify the problem. Same treatment. As a result I called a different company who responded quickly with courtesy and respect.
My experience, I was professional reached out through phone was given an email address and sent a request. Now everything was fine until I got a call, keep in mind I am referred to them and then I did leave a voicemail which simply stated it has been days....in this email which I still have stated the water was shut off....now in the midst of waiting another tenant needed plumbing service so not one but two people needed service that is two different invoices bringing in money for them....maybe even a potential new customer....now I was upfront so I didn't waste anyone's time I advised we were looking for a vendor to invoice us (whatever the terms were) and I didn't hide that so if that was even an issue that was an opportunity to say no....all I'm saying is don't be rude or even passive when someone is stating facts and just trying to get work done....businesses are obligated to keeping their word and consumers whether they are property managers or tenant should be able to not be talked to any kind of way when someone is trying to get an answer....when I refer people it's because I received good service not to send someone to get bad service....ijs ~ it got unprofessional real quick and that is unfair and not a good look after all it's not like I was bringing some small business this was an opportunity for everyone to be blessed....our tenants are without water and that was said that's where my situation and issue lies you not affecting me you affecting the family without water
I called at 2pm and they were here in about 35 minutes. The issue was fixed in 30 minutes and the toilet works much better than it did before. Frank was very professional and courteous. I was very pleased with how fast they responded and will definitely recommend them for any job in the future.
They are such nice folks. I couldn't have chosen a better company. Prompt and prices are great. Masks are worn too. You'll be happy with them. I have had them out 3 times.
I had a leaky toilet. I called in the morning on Friday, College Hill said they would try to get me in, but no promises. By 2pm, I had a fixed toilet & the plumber that came out said he'd wait to send the invoice until Monday or so to make sure the problem was fixed. I appreciate good, kind, & speedy service. Kudos & thank you, College Hill!
Frank, tech that came out was wonderful to my mom. He complimented her pets. Treated her with utmost respect. Was friendly and explained all that he was doing. He replaced the coil in her air conditioner. She lives in a mobile home. Was on time. I was there and was sooo Impressed.
The tech has always been responsive our our needs and the maintenances and repairs have been completed effectively and efficiently. Not the cheapest service available, but very professional.
Called cause it was 100 degrees outside to see if they could just sell me a capacitor so I could get my A/C going and the tech said yeah but if would be 300 just to show up at the shop and hand you the part plus the cost of the part.
They said they would have someone out in the morning, they didn't show up until late afternoon. After he was done "fixing" our toilet that was leaking, he left and charged us for 1 1/2 hrs of labor. Toilet started leaking again that night from the same spot AND a new spot. They came back out and charged us for 2 more hrs of labor and different parts. We will be going with a different company next time
