I called Above & Beyond this last Sunday night after finding water in my utility room and on the carpet in the nearby hallway. I am a newish homeowner and assumed this was an emergent situation. Jason answered by call right away and had me send pictures of my utility room. Despite my less than great description, he was able to narrow down the issue. He told me he could come that night but it would be at increased cost since it was after hours, but told me that he did not believe the situation severe enough for that and was able to schedule me at 11am on Monday (the next day) at the usual rate. He gave me great advice on how to cost-effectively dry out my utility room and remove water from my carpet in the mean time. He came on Monday and helped remedy the situation while I was at work and gave me a call to update me and give me advice moving forward. I did end up signing up for their yearly spring & fall preventative maintenance program because the price was very reasonable for what it includes and because I was so impressed with how Jason handled the situation. Jason was very professional, timely, and considerate about my time and money. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing HVAC help.

Jason diagnosed the problem with my air conditioner in an hour. I had Oehl heating and plumbing out here 3 times, because they installed the new air conditioner and did not diagnose the problem or fix it. Jason sent two technicians out here who repaired the air conditioner and were extremely knowledgeable and helpful! I would recommend Above and Beyond to everyone. Thank you Jason

I can’t even say enough good things. My technician, Micheal, was perfect. His attitude, demeanor, professionalism..everything was on point. This review could be really long if I just tell you about the ways he impressed me. So, I will just say this: A+ experience, I will call them for any heating/ac problems in the future, priced very reasonably. If Michael’s boss sees this, give that man a raise!💰

These guys are awesome. Not a single time
have I called and not gotten a callback within 10-15 minutes or an answer on the first try. Never any phone tag. They always show up on time, are insanely respectful to my property, explain everything they are doing in detail and keep me informed on what’s going on, what to expect, what to possibly save for in the future... I feel if these guys come back two or three more times I’ll be able to fully service my unit myself. I mean really I never have had better at home service for anything.. I’d recommend these guys to anybody.

I just had to share this as this company went above and beyond in helping an elderly woman driving. Her car had stopped in the middle of a busy intersection and this employee got out of his truck and pushed the car to safe side street. No one else stopped, but he did. I would recommend this company based on the fact that they go above and beyond to help, even when it isn't work related.

My heat went out on Friday, so I tried Above & Beyond Heating and Air Conditioning. To my surprise, and relief, they were able to fit me in at 2:30pm. Michael, the technician, arrived right on time. He was extremely professional and polite. He explained what he was looking for and told me why my unit had stopped working properly. Even better, he was able to fix the problem that day. He was happy to answer any questions I had. And, he encouraged me to join their yearly program to maintain my unit, which I did. It honestly saved me money. I would highly recommend the business, and I'd suggest asking for Michael! Thanks for the hard work!

Excellent company that does what they say they are going to do and shows up when they say they are going to be there! One of the few contractors that was easy to work with throughout my new shop build. Jasen always answers his phone, has answers and even inspected his guy's work after they were done. He truly does go Above and Beyond!

Main point: Jason and Above & Beyond should be your first call for AC repair. They for sure will be ours from now on.

Starting a run of 95+ degree days in Iowa City and of course our AC goes out. Called 5 companies before 8am, either no response or told it would be 2-3 days before they could get someone out. Jason, from Above & Beyond returned my call within 2 minutes, told me he could be out that same day.

Showed up ON TIME. Figured out the problem in minutes and fixed it, then went the extra mile and installed a new thermostat for us in about 5 minutes (our old one was on its last legs). Friendly and professional the entire time.

Also, very affordable, offering service and pricing that the competition definitely can't match in Iowa City.
