Lenny's Plumbing and Drain Cleaning

Lenny did an amazing job at fixing a situation that quickly became more complex than a simple drain stoppage! He worked around my busy work schedule when setting a follow up appointment. He always sent a text or call when he was on the way to make sure no time was wasted. He replaced a leaky drain pipe/trap, removed 2 softball sized clumps of “flushable” wipes and a broken hand snake left by the previous owners of our house, and he scoped all the pipes to make sure these issues were completely fixed. He even called the following day to make sure everything was working as expected. Great service!

Lenny D's was contracted to do plumbing work on my home through our AHS Warranty. As soon as they were assigned the work, I went online to review them as I had never heard of them. Most of the reviews I read were pretty negative and I asked AHS to reassign. They said that was not possible. Lenny's finally showed up more than 2 hours after the time slot they gave me. Never received a call that they were going to be late or anything. Since they came so late in the day and our problem was not a simple fix, they told me that would have to come back another time. That was almost 2 weeks ago. I am contacting AHS to make a formal complaint.

Called before he got to my house, very professional shared all the information I was even able to take a picture, he came and put a video camera down into the main sewer pipe for inspection, was able to explain exactly what the problem was I would hire him in a heart beat.

Reading other reviews we were a bit nervous but we found Lenny and his dad to be terrific. They said they’d be here in the morning and at 8:40 we got a call saying they we’re on the way. Then they came in and helped move the dryer and other things got the tools out to remove the blockage. Did it quickly and cleanly. He got that job done didn’t try to upsell us like other plumbers have. He even took a look at my leaky kitchen faucet and quickly tightened it so that it would stop leaking :-) Said that’s all it needed. I would use him again and recommend him!

Moved to area in Dec. Water heater developed leak a couple of weeks after moving into home. Due to the terrible weather that was constant..this company was finally able to put in the new water heater. Very considerate and professional while doing the work...shortly after they left a small leak appeared in the new pipe...called and they returned shortly and fixed the issue. AHS shield warranty worked for us.

Would give 0 stars if possible. I have no idea how someone like this remains in business.

As the others, this is the hot garbage I got stuck with through AHS. They won't call you like they're supposed to, and then will lie to AHS saying they've been trying. I eventually got an appointment "between 12-2pm" but 1:45pm rolled around and not a peep. So I called to confirm my appointment and was told the plumber was running 1.5 hours behind and that she'd call me back with an updated time. Never got a call back. I took a half day at work so I could be at home between the hours of 12 and 2. Somehow they think their time is more valuable than yours.

I'm going to cancel my AHS warranty because of this whole experience. And I'll definitely make sure nobody I know even thinks of using Lenny's for anything.

Excellent service and professional. Showed up on time and text before coming to let us know he was on his way. Resolved issues that we had called about. Went out of his way to help with other questions I had. Good job! Would definitely use Lenny's again.

American Home Shield set me up with this company. The guy was late setting up the appointment then when he got to my house he walked into the bathroom, stares at my bathtub faucet which leaked a steady stream of water asked me how old my house was and I told him it was built in the 50’s he said I can’t fix that. He said I need to rip my whole wall out and tear all tiling out. His assistant was carrying the tools down my hall way and barely walked in the bathroom when the guy basically had him turn back around. He said he would call AHS and see what they want to do. They were in my house less than 5 min.I heard nothing for three days. AHS told me I need to trust his judgment as a technician and that I would need to knock my wall out and completely remodel my bathroom. They also said that this plumber said that there was really no issue.? Really? My tub faucet was constantly leaking a stream of water. I demanded a second opinion. 2nd Guy looked at my faucet, ordered the parts and fixed the leak. No remodel, no knocking out wall, I would not recommend this company they didn’t even attempt to fix anything! Also if you have AHS it’s in your contract that you have the right to ask for a second opinion but if the the second opinion is the same as the first you have to pay again. Letting people know because numerous customer service reps said I couldn’t ask for a second opinion until I got the right person.

I had a sump pump installed and they were quick and very nice. They however didnt clean up the mess on the floor after they were done but it was men. Lol
I did use my ahs american home shield warranty i have no regret. Thank you Lenny!

Horrible, we have a home warranty for a year and this was the company they sent first. Came on a Tuesday at 3pm which was fine but basically stated what I already knew... “that I have a leak in a pipe” they told me someone from the office would be calling me to schedule a date for the service to be done. Nobody called me. I tried calling them at least 20 times by the time Friday came since this is an issue that can’t be delayed. I understand there is more clients then just me to handle but when they don’t pick up their phone once or clear their voicemail box so you can leave a message I wasn’t very happy. Finally called AHS again on Friday and they got ahold of them... MAGICALLY.... said someone would be calling me from Lenny’s Friday... nope.... no call ... and of course they wouldn’t answer my calls again.. finally told AHS to get me someone different and had no issues from there. If AHS tells you this is your contractor for plumbing tell them you want a different one on the spot, I would have called Lynch on the spot if I didn’t have a free warranty for the year... My guess is they pick the easy jobs and screw the rest... totally unprofessional and they need their license pulled.
