The lady who answered the phone and who called me back was extremely rude and unprofessional. Once I finally got a technician to come out and look at our AC, he claimed he resolved the issue. Not even 3 days later the issue was back and the AC wasn’t working again. We now have to wait for another company to fix it because this company didn’t care enough to actually deep dive and double check everything for us. Would never recommend them. Awful.

Choice Plumbing, Heating, & A/C was contracted through AHS to repair our non-responsive HVAC unit.

Brendan was very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly discovered the bad transformer and replaced it to have our unit working in no time. He also added a fuse which was missing from the control board!

We went through our home warranty and were assigned this vendor. Our furnace is out in 20° weather. I called Choice Heating at 8:10am to just make note on our request that our furnace was not functioning at all to potentially expedite. I did not expect to schedule on this call. The lady that answered was extremely unprofessional. Her first words to me were "we open at 8am, I do not even have my computer on yet. Once I get to my email we will call you to schedule". I just asked that she could note my name for potential first available appointment. I continued to get very unprofessional attitude and told they have no openings, they were scheduling for Monday.... 3days without heat in below freezing weather is not acceptable. I called another company and received an appointment for 10:30am same day. Would not recommend Choice Heating for any service. When customer service is your company's job, you better be sure you have professional personnel as the first contact with your customers.

Very professional.. from the initial call to install was in a timely manner.. No up charges! they did a great job.. Choice will be my first choice if any other issues arise..

We purchased a home with an AHS warranty, the first summer we lived in the home the AC unit was not functional. We filed a claim with AHS and within 2 hours Choice Plumbing, Heating and Cooling called to set an appointment. The technician was punctual, respectful and took the time to leave a detailed note about the repairs and issues with the unit (we were not home at the time). Fast forward to this summer and again we had an issue with the AC unit, different issue this time, again set up a claim and within hours got a call to set up service. Technician was out, repaired the issue within 30 min during a hot weather streak so that we could get the house cooled down. Regretfully the AC unit now needs replaced just through a series of bad luck, however the technician, Brandon, went over our home in detail and some suggestions on our new unit that might help solve some of the issues in the house. I would recommend these guys in a heartbeat. I never felt as though they were in a rush and they always answered my questions.

The only issues we had honestly were with AHS, as someone who works in insurance, I have never seen a contract with so many requirements/loopholes.

Had the guy come out to inspect our furnace/gas line, was told after he inspected, would call office to set appointment up to do work. Never got appointment made, never returned our calls. Not professional at all! Instead we called Lowden Plumbing, now them I would recommend!

My family just moved to Iowa and within our first week in our new house the water heater was leaking. A contractor, Mike, was scheduled quickly and fixed the problem! I panicked when I heard a weird noise the next day and Mike came back out to make sure everything was ok. As a woman I’m used to men talking to me like I don’t understand things like this, but not Mike! He talked to me normal, the same way he talked to my husband. He was very patient with me too. Would 100% recommend this company and Mike!

We had a somewhat complicated scenario where a drain was backing up into an old lead vent pipe and leaking (our house is 120 years old!) Mike was the plumber from Choice Plumbing who was fabulous and knowledgable. He diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it. Charity in the office on the phone was delightful and helpful. All in all, I’m very happy and would recommend them again!
