    Affordable heating and air is a lifesaver!! Our air conditioner went out the week of memorial day weekend. We had a guy planning on coming out that Wednesday, but then no called no showed leaving us with 2 days to find someone before the weekend. Along with it being memorial day weekend, it was a ridiculous hot week and my wife was scheduled to go to the hospital to give birth that Friday as well. I called several places and explained my unusual situation with no one willing to help. We called Affordable and after explaining our situation to lady that answers the phone, she spoke to the owner who went above and beyond to squeeze us in and make sure we had A/C as soon as possible. They came out the next day and replaced our unit and worked and got everything done while we were in the hospital. So by the time we got back home with our newborn our home was nice and cool. I cannot express how thankful and satisfied I am by using affordable heating and air. On top the amazing service it was a very reasonable price for a new unit and install as well. It's been a year since and had zero issue with our new unit. I will never use another heating and cooling company again. They gained a customer for life!!

    While it took 3 days to get a part got great service from Jason, i would call it hazardous work due to small space and no air. he worked through that and had it running in no time. with no complaints from him. great ervice, but hope i dont need for awhile!

    This is the second time we have used Affordable Heating and Cooling in less then a year. Both total system replacements. I could have not been happier with the quote to the install and follow up service. Will definitely use them again for any Heating or Air Conditioning issues. I have called twice and they have been in less then an hour! It’s nots just about the equipment but importantly the install and follow up service! We also had there sister company clean our duct work before new install and I give a 5 star also. Thank you Brad in sales, Nick in scheduling and Steven for the great install !

    I wish I could give 0 stars, but that’s not an option. Dealing with Affordable has been a nightmare. Unfortunately, they were used by our contractor to install our a/c, water heater etc. Our vent system has been leaking carbon monoxide from not installing correctly. We called them to fix this because this is under our warranty with them. They don’t return phone calls and have not sent anyone out to deal with a carbon monoxide leak. Totally unprofessional, unqualified and do not care about safety. Do not use them!!!

    Actually I called Mid American and had them come out, not you guys.

    I truly wish there was a way to put a zero star rating, but my review will say it all. Please read this review all the way through.

    4 weeks ago we had a tech come out to service our AC unit as it was not working. He did a full inspection and told us everything looked great and we were just out of refrigerant. He added 4lbs of refrigerant and billed us $425.00 which we paid. 2 weeks later we went to turn the AC on and it was not working. We called back and had another technician come out, who then told us that we had a leak as we were out of refrigerant. They did not tell us where the leak was or what was causing the leak, in fact they told us to search ourselves for a leak. When I asked for a refund of the money, he told us that we had a new technician do the work, and he should have caught the leak before ever putting in the refrigerant and we should not have been billed. 1 week later we had another teach come out (3rd tech in 3 weeks) and told us we had a significant leak in the evaporator coil, and with the age of the unit it was a better decision to replace the unit. We asked to have the previous money we spent ($425) applied towards the bill of a new unit which they would not comply with and in turn only offered $150 off their quote. Today, I spoke with Ray Vasser-VP of the company regarding the refund, and he was extremely unprofessional and would not refund us the money simply because we went with a different company. He then proceeded to make threats to put a lien on us, and decided to bill us an additional $200 for the other 2 service visits, even though they were with the 30 day window of the first visit. This company simply charged us an erroneous $425.00 charge for service that should have never been done and all I asked for was a refund. The leak should have been found in the full inspection in the first visit, and in turn we receive another $200 bill putting our total paid at $625 and still are without AC and fixed nothing.

    It was extremely complicated and a disaster dealing with them and to my experience is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Also, the amount of time it takes for them to get back to you is ridiculous as well.

    Please do yourself a favor and save your time even contacting this joke of a company and take your business else where because they are simply a horrible company unwilling to work with their customers.

    David was very knowledgeable and took time to explained everything in detail. Will totally recommend Affordable Heating. Did great work on our hydronic heater just in time for cold weather to come.

    I had a repairman out to my house on Dec 8 to diagnose a problem with my fireplace. He found the problem and ordered replacement parts. I started calling late in December about once a week wondering why I had not been scheduled for the repair. I was told multiple times that the part was in transit. Finally on January 19 I had asked to speak with a manager and was sent to his voicemail, where I calmly asked for a return call about scheduling my repair. No return call from the manager came. I called on January 29 and actually spoke to the manager I had left a voicemail with, and he said he'd have to call the supplier about it. This was after I had already called and specifically left him a message 10 days ago to do that very thing, and HE STILL HADN'T DONE IT! Please avoid this company at all costs.

    Waited over a month to get a gas fireplace "clean & tune". Asked for service as well - I told them it was not working properly and we could smell gas while it was on. Well, Truman the Technician was nice enough, but he literally could do nothing to service the unit beyond wiping the glass down and scuffing the flame sensor. Paid the $85 for the service, and was left with an inoperable fireplace... and am now waiting another month for another company to come fix the gas valve. I don't understand why they would send someone with no repair capabilities when I told them the issue a month prior. Also called them after the "clean and tune" to schedule the repair, twice in fact and they never called back. Business in this industry must be too good right now to not have to worry about customer satisfaction.

    Affordable Heating and Cooling recently replaced our A/C, furnace, and water heater. They were so prompt in providing a quote and scheduling installation. Their guys worked hard all day long to get everything done at once.

    Service tech was 1/2 hour late, but did call and say he was running late about 10 minutes before he arrived; that disrupted our schedule for the morning.
    Once here he proceeded to do a thorough job of servicing our HVAC system which he accomplished in one hour.
    We are very pleased with Affordable's ESA program and contract for it every other year.
