Tyler came to take a look at our AC that decided to not turn on recently. He was professional and so kind! A true pleasure to work with. He got us up and running quickly. He genuinely cared! We are happy to have found price point comfort and will use them for any furnace/ AC: water heater needs!!!

They were on time & found the problem. The service tech was very knowledgeable & took his time to check everything thoroughly. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs service on their heating or cooling. It is a business with a lot of integrity & good work ethic.

What a great all around experience with James + Price Point Comfort! I called James due to a weird noise coming from my furnace. He came out the next day to diagnose, we ultimately decided a new system was best. He walked me through each option and helped us decide the best fit for our home based on many factors. He even helped us even out the temp throughout the whole house. The new system is so quiet and user friendly! Did I mention they installed a brand new system in less than a week within ordering?! Highly recommend James and his team!

Was absolutely amazing! I called Sat evening on the non-emergency line thinking I would not hear back until Monday. Literally 30mins later, James gave me a call and was at my house the very next day at 8am.

Upon arrival, James was professional looking and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue along with some solid recommendations. I also want to point out, that James explained in detail everything that he was doing and why he did along with pricing concerns.

Needless to say, after the visit was done, I immediately signed up for his annual membership plan, which literally pays for itself if you maintenance your HVAC (which you should) annually. If your considering using Bassett Services in Plainfield, please read my experience below and why I ended up going with Price Point Comfort before making your decision.

Not long ago we had a hot day and it seemed that my Geothermal system was not cooling correctly, and so I called Basset on Friday (May 5th, 2023) and they had a technician come out to look at the system. After about an hour he let me know that he was not able to do a pressure test of the loop as he could not get the fitting off and get his equipment on it and also that the compressor on the system had failed and being that it was an older unit that the cost to repair would be around $7k and we would be better off replacing it. They then asked me if I would like to have someone come out to give me a quote, I said yes, and the guy came within the hour. After going over the options he informed me that they had a system in stock and that they could replace it on Monday, and it would cost $27k. He stated that they provided financing but the best interest rate they could offer was %9.99 APR.

I smartly decided to wait and come the next week I decided to call and get some more quotes. I called several places and provided them with the details and ask them if the $27k seemed accurate, they stated it seemed high and felt it should be closer to the $20k number. I then asked them to come out and give me a formal quote on the system and both other vendors were able to quote a comparable system right around $17k which was $10k less than Basset. Upon leaving James from Price Point Comfort asked if he could take a quick look at the system to see if he could see anything. I said sure, and about an hour later he was able to determine that the compressor had not failed but it was a failed safety sensor and that the cost to repair the sensor and do some cleaning would be around $500, and some additional duct work to help air flow to the other end of the house would be about an additional $500. So, I agreed and they came out on Monday morning (5/15/2023) as scheduled and they replaced the sensor, checked my loop pressure & recharged it, cleaned the system and replaced some of the old ducting all for under $1500. Needless to say, I will be using Price Point Comfort going forward.

Excellent experience with the entire team at Price Point Comfort! We arrived home from vacation to find that our water heater went out. We called on a Saturday (New Years Eve) and they came out within a couple hours. They diagnosed the problem, replaced our unit and has us back up and running all within the same day. Amazingly friendly, knowledgeable and responsive!

Ray was our technician today and he did a fantastic job. He was professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I will definitely be using price point in the future! Definitely recommend!!!

Ray was great and provided some very much needed education to a guy that has zero HVAC knowledge. Will def use them again.
