The technician was 40 minutes and did not even call to let us know that he was running late. We advised him the compressor was bad and not blowing and cool air. He advised us that we need a whole new unit. My husband asked if there was anyway that we repair it and he stated no, you need a whole new unit and asked if we are going to do it today or not and my husband stated that I will need to talk it over with my wife and he okay $90.00 and started to walk to his van. My husband asked will you at least give us an estimate for $90.00. If my husband did not ask for an estimate, they would of never even given us a estimate. We paid $90.00 for a 5 minutes of their time. We felt very bullied by this guys as he did not even really want to answer any questions or anything, very poor customer service and not friendly at all. Quickest service call ever, I have never had a heating and cooling company gone with 5 minutes of coming out and not wanting to answer questions.

We had them install a new hvac system 3yrs ago. I called them this year just to do a tune up on it. When the guy came out he ran a diagnostic on it and said the pressure was high. Then proceeded to tell us in order to look further into it, it was going to cost us $120 per hour… we agreed and he came back and said we had a bad coil. We asked how could that be since the unit is only 3yrs old, he said sometimes it happens that they’re bad or maybe it’s the wrong size but luckily the part is under warranty. But the labor isn’t and would cost $1800! We got on the phone with the manger and instead of trying to work with us he was trying to sell us a new unit! There was a major red flag we should have been aware of. When the technician first said the pressure was high he then immediately said I bet it’s a coil… I had 3 of them go bad on people yesterday 😏 I bet. We told him just to put the unit back together and paid him $300 for basically nothing. The next day we had another company come out for a second opinion. They said there was nothing wrong with the coil. Part of our unit is outside and it had some weeds and grass growing behind it. The technician said that is probably what is causing the pressure to read high. He offered to clean the unit and the weeds out. It only cost us $18 for that. I WILL NEVER USE COMBS AGAIN!!! They were unprofessional and uneducated about the equipment from the start and they can’t be trusted. In reality we should get a refund because they lied to use about anything being wrong with the unit. Btw those wanting an honest opinion call Allegiance Heating and Air

I don't normally write reviews, but this has to be passed on for others to know... New HVAC system installed, had to have them come back out for the following, each a different time:
    1. Exhaust pipe was ran with 2 90 degree angles, had to be taken out and redone.
    2. Rain coming into exhaust because the elbow pipe wasn't secured properly on roof.
    3. Refrigerant line leaking condensation on the floor due to piping not being wrapped properly, as well as condensation line leaking on floor. (Neither of these were fixed properly when they came back out, I repaired them myself, and received an invoice for this, which I called and they cancelled.)
    4. Gas line was leaking into the house so much that when I opened the door the fumes came rushing out, all because the connector was only hand tightened, I mean seriously? This could've been disastrous.

Called Combs to get help on my furnace, they came the same day. The tech was right on time, fixed my problem for a reasonable rate. They didn't try to up sale us or fix things that didn't need fixed. We will definitely us them again if needed. thanks.

Called a big well known heating and air company and was quoted almost $1400 for a part and around $5000 just to replace the system. I call combs and they had someone come out and repaired the part without replacing the unit. The repair only cost $266. This company cares about people, from the first person you speak with to the technician that comes to your home. I will NEVER use anyone else nor will I ever recommend anyone else. Save yourself some time and call combs!

Combs is always willing to repair your unit when others push for full replacement. They are true technicians for the people! They don't push you into contracts either.

Combs was exceptional! I had another company come to my house and they told me that I needed to replace my entire system, they stated that it was cheaper to replace than getting it repaired. Combs tech came out explained everything thing he was doing and it turned out I was just low on Freon. Super nice guy! Saved me a ton of money!

Eric the technician is super friendly and reliable. He arrived on time and solved problem without issue. Eric doesn't try to up-sell new systems he fixes problems and does what is best for the customer. Highly recommend.

The service technician, Eric, was exceptional!! He explained everything he was doing and went above and beyond to repair my existing A/C unit rather than try to sell me a new one. The friendliness of the office staff and my experience with their service technician ensures that I will be back when replacement time comes!
