    We had to have a new furnace installed. There were 4 team members here at one point. All 4 were polite and professional. This company truly cares about me heir customers and are never just “trying out o sell you something “. I look forward to having tune-ups in the future. Best company ever!

    Reliable and fast. They can do anything from routine maintenance to emergency repairs, and they charge very reasonable prices. They're also very good at explaining what needs to be done and how much it will cost, which is something that other repair services don't always do well. I highly recommend them!

    Sage Heating And Air Conditioning are extremely efficient and easy to work with. The technician diagnosed a failed compressor in my heat pump. Before arriving , a text arrived on my cellphone with the picture of the technician and estimated arrival time. Over many years, I have dealt with quite a few heating and aircon companies, and in only 1 visit I have decided that Sage Heating And Air Conditioning is the best of those. I know who I'm calling from now on.

    I am a huge fan of Sage Heating And Air Conditioning! They are reliable, on time, and amazing at fixing my AC. They are always able to figure out the problem and fix it in a timely manner. They are also the most reasonably priced ac company i have ever worked with. They don't nickel and dime you and are very honest about what needs to be done.

    I had a TERRIBLE experience with Sage. They aren’t the kind of HVAC company you might think of. As I found out, what they actually do is hire local independent contractors— freelancers, essentially (I assume they’re licensed, but who really knows). So that means that their entire operation is disjointed and uncoordinated.

    I initially called because my furnace wasn’t working. The call center personnel told me that they would send someone between 830 and 1130. The technician did not arrive until 130, though. To his credit, he quickly diagnosed the problem (a broken igniter), and installed a new one. Considering that igniters cost about $25-50, I thought that charging $300 was steep, but apparently that’s close to the going rate.

    But the real problems came the next day. In the middle of the night, the igniter BROKE. I called Sage at 0530. They answered but told me to call back at 0800. When I did, they told me that a “technician manager” would call me. This NEVER happened. I had to call back FOUR times in order to get any service. The call center reps told me they could NOT transfer me to a technician, could NOT give the number of a tech, could NOT guarantee any kind of refund— they couldn’t do ANYTHING as my house got colder and colder. Eventually, at 2 PM— 9 hours after I made the initial call— the original technician returned.

    Turns out the igniter he installed went bad. He tried to blame the way that my furnace was set up as the reason it broke, but a technician from a different company assured me that wasn’t the case. Eventually, he re-installed a new piece and STILL wanted to charge me money ($100 vs 300). He also asked that I pay him in cash, another indicator that Sage is just a ragtag collection of handymen rather than a real company.

    Bottom line:

    -They don’t care about their customers
    -The call center reps can’t really do anything for you
    -They aren’t your typical HVAC company
    -The headquarters and the techs rarely (or poorly) communicate
    -They WAY overcharge for their horrible service
