We've had two wonderful experiences with iTemp!

March 2017 - At 6pm on the Sunday before a big snow, we realized our heat had completely stopped working. I reached out to a couple big name companies with no response (if you live in the area, you know who I'm referring to). Then I called and left a message with iTemp. I fully expected to not hear anything after being let down by the others, but Jimmy responded within 20 minutes. He walked me through what to do for our furnace for the evening and scheduled an appt for the morning. I received a response from another company, but after briefly talking to Jimmy, I didn't want to work with anyone else. They provided a time frame, called ahead, and arrived when they said they would. It took less than 10 minutes for them to diagnose the problem while walking me through the issue and educating me on it so I wasn't in the dark. They returned with the piece they needed very quickly and had it installed and the system back up and running in 15 minutes. The pricing was spot on, the service was great, and I feel like a more knowledgeable consumer after talking to them.

January 2018 - The flame sensor in our very old furnace had collected a thick layer of soot, triggering a safety feature that turned off the unit. Having had issues with the system in the past, I scheduled with Jimmy to come out to look at the unit on Saturday. When he came out, he inspected it and found a new problem, the dreaded rust and cracking. He showed me the damage, explained it thoroughly, and informed me of the danger of a carbon monoxide leak had we continued to use it. We were facing every homeowners worst nightmare, it was time for the furnace to be replaced. Rather than sell to us and use jargon, he made us comfortable, explained the system, the replacement, and the process should we only replace the 20 year old furnace and not the 20 year old AC. After speaking with Jimmy, we felt confident in our decision to replace both and he quoted us fairly on the new system, significantly under the cost of his competitors for a better unit than they even would offer. Everything was installed quickly and the process was seamless. Our electricity and gas bills decreased dramatically and our home was far more efficient. We recently sold our condo and the new system was a huge selling point with the buyers that came to see the unit. Our neighbors who have the same old system we once did have gotten iTemp's contact info from us and plan to do the same.

When we moved to Chicago, we had to replace a tiny part on our AC on the hottest day of June and the company we called on the fly simply didn't compare to iTemp's customer service and work. We would never use another company for heating and A/C in Chicago. I only hope I can find someone as reliable and trustworthy as Jimmy in our new state. I would HIGHLY recommend you use iTemp for your HVAC needs, you will not regret it!

I've been using Jimmy's service's for years. He knows his trade extremely well and more importantly is reliable and honest. He went out of his way, spending hours finding a discontinued part for my 10 year AC unit, saving me thousands of dollars. I highly recommend his services.

Jimmy is one of the most honest, hard working, easy to do business with HVAC owners that I've had the privilege of knowing. His work installing both a AC unit and a furnace, along with fixing other contractors errors with our ducts was impeccable, all while being half the cost of 4 other "Larger" HVAC companies I had quote us. Jimmy and iTemp are by far the best hvac company I have worked with! Jimmy is professional, honest and knowledgable. He saved us from freezing all winter in 2014/2015 when the "new" furnace that came with our new house broke every few weeks. He also saved us a ton of money and didn't get annoyed with our crazy dogs. Bottom line...iTemp is a million times better than the other big and well-known companies that charge a bunch of money to diagnose a problem and then even more to "fix" it. And iTemp is local to the Nw side and surrounding suburbs so you're supporting local business and a great company at the same time!

Called a few HVAC places for estimates on installing a furnace and condenser coil for one of my units. Jimmy was first to return my call and the first one to come out for estimate. This guy is honest and upfront. I can appreciate that. He will be getting my business from now on. Thanks Jimmy

We could not be happier with the service that itemp provided. After bringing them out for a second opinion on a bad compressor it turned out that we only needed a new capacitor vs a new unit. They are a top notch and honest hvac company. We love Jimmy and his technicians.

Jimmy is a keeper. Amazingly I found him on Yelp. It's cold. Furnace stops running. I chose him cuz literally every rating was 5 stars with great reviews and i needed to get heat in the house. He come by that evening - gets it running. Furnace won't stay lit. He comes back and makes adjustments to keep in running. It stays running. Doesn't charge me!!! Who does that these days?? I definitely needed a new furnace. We talked options and prices. He thoroughly explained what each model did and how it would heat the house. I ordered. He and his crew came in, did the work, cleaned up afterwards. Professional. Old school honesty where a handshake has meaning. So glad I took a chance and cold called him from a yelp ad!! Definitely a 5 star unconditional recommendation!

I cannot thank this company enough! My tenant's furnace broke late in the evening with 10 degree temps outside. The temperature in her unit had already dropped 15 degrees. I called several companies, including the company I purchased the furnace from, desperate to get it fixed. iTemp called me back immediately. In fact, he was the only one that called me back.

Understanding my plight, the owner was kind enough to diagnose the problem over the phone and guided me through making the repair. I'm not sure any other company would have been so nice. Thanks to him, I can sleep peacefully tonight and most importantly, my tenant will be warm and there won't be any frozen pipes (which happened when the old furnace broke).

I called this company on a Sunday morning because of an AC repair I needed. I received a message that their mail box is full and cannot accept new messages at this time. Seriously? Based on the positive reviews here, I was hoping to hire them, but I will not do business with a company if I cannot contact them via phone or be able to leave a phone message. What is the point of providing a phone number contact option if a potential or current customer cannot get through on it?
