Advantage Air is an amazing company. Technician Kelly is the best of the best. He came to service my AC for the year and noticed a leak. He went above and beyond to fix it for me. I’ve had other companies come who would immediately go right to replacement and scheduling a salesperson to come out. While he did mention that might be an option, he said let’s see what can be done to fix it first. He explained everything to me so I could understand it and gave me options. I 100% trust everything he said. Whenever I do need to replace my AC or furnace, I will only be calling Advantage. Honesty and integrity are what they provide and they are appreciated.
All I can say is that is that it is extremely refreshing to work with people who are honest and caring and Kelly and Tess are exactly that. Working with Tess over the phone, you will find that she is very knowledgeable in her industry and super responsive in her communications. She even reached out to us a couple of weeks after the jobs were complete to make sure we followed up on some rebates we were eligible for. Kelly had the responsibility of replacing two furnaces and two A/C units and I can tell you that my attic furnace replacement was not a simple one. He had a 30” square hole in a closet to remove and install the new unit and he did so with care and patience to make sure the job was done correctly and without damage to any parts of our home. Also, supporting the local business is another reason I want to go with something other than those big guys. I had a suspected issue with my AC condenser a couple of weeks ago when it was 80-plus degrees outside. Then the temperature dropped in the following weeks, so I'm not in a super hurry.
I called up, and Tess picked up the phone and explained some basic ideas to ensure I understood my circumstances before setting up the appointment. She accommodated me with my schedule, and technician Kelly showed up on time at my front door. He checked it up very professionally and pointed out that my condenser's pressure was below zero, and it was already way passed its lifespan. Getting the new one seems to be the only way to go.
He wrote me a quote upfront, even with the detail of the model included. Explained the pros and cons of the pricing, features, and even the warehouse inventory availabilities, etc. I paid the service fee, which was $95, and then it was waived when I decided to get a new AC installed. Surprisingly, Tees squeezes me into the same-day installation. Yes, same day, after I agreed on the payment, Tees sent Kelly to pick up the new unit in Lombard and put it on for me the same day. It took about 4 hours to finish Kelly himself, and I appreciated the professionalism and communication during the process. Kelly spent the last 30 minutes testing out the leak and pressure before he wrapped it up, and everything worked wonderfully. So my whole family can stay cool and peaceful for the rest of the night.
After that, Tees will help me to register for the warranty, which I believe is an additional step they're taking to take care of their customer. Nowadays, we can simply get pieces of information or buy things online, including the service. Still, I don't really like the idea of talking to several representatives before someone knows what he's doing.
My furnace might be at the end of its lifespan as well. I'll definitely call them up again when I need an HVAC system for my house—big shouts out to Tees and Kelly.
I have received excellent service from Advantage on two occasions. Last year when the A/C unit went out, they came and installed a new one same day. This year, same thing with the furnace. I had called another HVAC service provider who was going to install it for more money and could only get it done 3 days later. I was able to get next day full service from Advantage. Very professional, and Tess won't recommend things you don't need. Very happy with them.
My heat went out on one of the coldest days we have had this year. Advantage Air answered my call right away and got someone out there the same day. My furnace was at the end of its design life and the technician was able to get it up and working for the night and they were able to fit me in the next morning to replace my unit. The technician was prompt, extremely professional and got the new furnace installed quickly so I wasn't without heat for too long. The office staff is amazing and they register your unit for you and they get it done quickly. 10 out of 10 would recommend Advantage Air.

I'm glad I called Air Advantage because they charged me ONE THIRD and came over within an hour. And they fixed and recharged my AC. I couldn't recommend them enough and will forever be their customer.
Kelly and Steve were excellent, my basement is a crawl space and they replaced my old furnace on an extremely cold Saturday. Kelly arrived an hour after I called. I definitely recommend them, they were very courteous, knowledgeable and efficient.

Kelly and Steve are the technicians that we have worked with. They are careful and thorough, and they both take time to explain and even demonstrate what they are doing and why. We worked with Advantage Air Heating and Cooling for the past 2 years. We replaced our entire HVAC system and AC's the year prior and had an unfortunate accident that smashed our AC's beyond repair. Tess and Kelly were extremely helpful and understanding about our situation and had someone out as soon as possible. I would definitely use them again!! Thank you for everything!
I’ve heard a lot of complaints from friends and family about HVAC companies, so as a new homeowner I was nervous to have someone out. But my experience with Advantage Air couldn’t have been better. Tess in the office went above and beyond to get my needs met and Kelly the technician was wonderful. He was very professional and took the time to patiently explain the problem. Going forward, I will not be using any other HVAC company besides this one!
