I have been using Fred Martin Heating for years now! They have performed yearly services on my furnaces & AC units, repaired, and installed new thermostats. I find them very easy to schedule, reliable, honest, and fair priced! Highly recommend! Fred Jr. is awesome! Austen Wiedel was my most recent tech and he helped me wade through my options and pick the one best for me, as well as get the work done on schedule! He even came early to accommodate my schedule. I have used them for a couple years for furnace and AC checks at both my home and my daughter's home. Everything was great. In fact, I tagged them when I recommended them on our subdivision's Facebook page. However, a couple weeks ago I received an email stating that I still owed for a service call - from December, 2017! Geez, I've used them two or three times since then, but now I get an email about something that was paid 18 months ago? Based on the delay I think the courtesy of a phone call would have been nice before sending an email/invoice. I knew it had been paid and it only took a few minutes to get them a copy of my charge statement. In the end, a simple apology for their clerical error would have been nice, but it didn’t happen.

Martin installed new furnace and humidifier in July as AC was not working. Old furnace was over 30 years old. They were very responsive, doing install next day after initial diagnosis on hottest days of July! Professionalism of all staff, from Freddie the owner, to Jon in the office, to installer Ryan, all were great to work with.

In November, we experienced loud banging coming from the duct work once we turned heat on. Freddie came out and offered to add additional ducting to solve the problem. He said he would do so at no charge as they had not "caught" this issue in July. Now that is "service beyond expectations"!! Ryan came back next day for a couple hours to complete the work and banging is now gone. While I offered to pay for labor or parts, Freddy kept his word and would not except any payment.

Austen was a great help with fixing what was wrong with our furnace. Found the parts were covered under warranty which saved us money and had the new system up and running quickly and efficiently. He made sure to tell us when things were by giving us updates throughout the process. Absolutely will be telling all my friends about Martin Heating and Air.

We lost cooling during a sudden hot and humid stretch (isn't that how it always happens/). We called Martin for repair late at night and the repair was done on time the next morning. Trinidad, the tech they sent out was honest, professional and thorough. We weren't looking to replace our 15 year old system at this time, and didn't feel cornered into doing so. We'll be calling Martin again when that time comes around.

(edit: After placing my review Martin Enterprises contacted me regarding the defective component and replaced it without charging for the service, While i am unhappy about the circumstances I believe that they have taken efforts to make things right which speaks highly to the character of this company. I am keeping the content of the original review below for reference)

Martin enterprises installed a defective humidifier and failed to identify that it was constantly leaking water down the drain even when it was off, sadly i didn't identify that this was happening for a long time until i did a review of my water bill. By the time i discovered the issue i had paid over $1,000 in water bill and still had to pay $100 for them to come out and diagnose their own defective product and would likely have had to pay for them to come back a second time to replace the defective component. I expect them to verify the proper function of their installation at the time of the installation or to make some attempt to make things right. They did neither.
