Nicholson Heating & Air Conditioning

Apart from the technical services, I was impressed with the theoretical guidelines given by Nicholson Heating & Air Conditioning. I only expected them to just do the installation then they be on their way, but all through, they engaged me from knowing the requirements of how I should properly manage my furnace with no problems in the future. The job they did was well done and I would recommend them to anyone.

We are more than pleased with the fine service provided by the technician from Nicholson Heating & Air Conditioning. He was very comprehensive, extremely knowledgeable, answered all our questions in diligently. He was very helpful and friendly. The service was remarkable and we greatly appreciate. Thumbs up!!

They sent a technician that did not know what he was doing charged me 120$ on top of the 149$ they charged for a service fee. Had to call another company to repair what the technician said he fixed. When I call the company to ask for a refund they did refund me the service fee. But when I asked about the 120$ they informed me that that technician has been stealing customers payments and they were not able to refund me the 120$ because the the technician did not report it to them. Please be carful when dealing with this company it seems they hire shady people.

My air conditioning went out on a Tuesday afternoon. I called Nicholson and was told to expect a tech between 5:15-8:15pm. I later received a call at 7:40pm that the tech was going to be unable to make it and that I could expect someone from 9am-12pm the following day. Nobody came and I wasn't called. I called Nicholson at 12:10pm and was told that the tech would call me shortly with an ETA. He called an hour and a half later. This tech did not come to my home until 4:30pm. Nearly 24 hours after I was originally told to expect a technician.

The tech "fixed" my AC by replacing the refrigerant. We had cool air for about 4 hours before our system started blowing hot air again. The next morning we called Nicholson and were told that the tech would call us to return to our home. They were unable to tell us when to expect the tech or even when we could hear from him. We asked to speak with a manager. We were told that someone would call us back, but were not told when that would be. We never received a phone call from a technician or a supervisor.

TL;DR: DON'T USE NICHOLSON. They didn't show up for 2 appointment windows. They failed to appropriately fix my unit. They didn't stand by their work and remediate the problem when informed. They failed to communicate with us in a remotely effective way.

Super easy business to use. It was terrific getting exactly the service that was promised.

****Scamming customers****
I called the number on web site which connected me to an answering service. The guy sold me a service pack for $150, which suppose to cover 2 yearly (Spring and Fall) maintenance service. I booked the service, on the day of service a tech call me and told me that he will charge me $175 for cleaning air condition unit. I canceled the service and trying to get back my $150.
No one in Chicago land charge $175 for A/C maintenance/tune ups. This is a bad business, stay away from this company.

Greatly impressed with the service delivered by Marcos from Nicholson Heating & Air Conditioning.They came to our home to do an install and completion was delivered as promised and the job was immaculate. They shown a great workmanship and their work was flawless.The new furnace is perfect Highly recommended and well, well worth the price!

What a great experience! Jack was on-time, thorough, courteous, and knowledgeable. Besides being an expert, he has focus on satisfying his clients needs. He explained all fees and options up front! A very positive experience. We will definitely be calling on Jack for all of our Heating and cooling needs.

I highly recommend Nicholson Heating & Air Conditioning. My furnace wasn't working and it was 10 degrees outside last night. I have two children getting over colds and needed help. They were at my house within 45 minutes and had the furnace working within another 30. Highly recommended.
