Its really 0 stars. Trying to support local businesses i went there to purchase a Capacitor. Not knowing how much they cost, the lady working the front desk said $100. I said WOW! Payed $100, when she printed the receipt she changed a number of the description with a pen and said she did that because the system was not pulling up the correct item but that it was basically the same. Not really think much at the time i was in a hurry to get back home to change the part. Later that evening i thought more about how the sale went so i went online to price the Capacitor. I found the same Capacitor at several other sites between 20-30 dollars. So much for trying to support local businesses. This business ripped me off. I will never buy from them again and will not recommend them to anyone. I can just imagine how many more people they have ripped off with part, service and installation sales.

My family has done business with them for years. I have used a few other companies in the past and I saved hundreds for the same repairs. My parents used them to replace a system and saved thousands. They don’t do emergency repairs but you could spend the night in a hotel for the money you save.

Called them late Thursday and they had someone ready to come out at 8am Friday. That didn’t work for me so I asked about 2pm. They said “sure!” At 1pm I decided sooner would be better than later. Even with that short of notice, they had someone at my door at 1:15! Only an hour later my AC was blowing cool again.

No up sales or pressure tactics. Just replaced my transformer and gave me a tip on how to prevent the issue from occurring again. (Vacuum the drainage line every 3 months to prevent backup).

Price was right in the area I expected too, if not a bit cheaper. 10/10 would recommend.

Had issues with my unit not heating well. Had previously used another hvac tech for years who told me I had a leak somewhere and he recharged it but never looked further. So I decided to give someone else a try. Called the day after Christmas and the lady who answers was not only nice but was able to send someone out within 2 hours of my call. Several other companies I tried calling didn’t pick up.

The tech was very nice and found the issue within 20 minutes. Turns out it was wired wrong when the house was built. Very reasonable pricing and courteous. All fixed, they just earned my business.

We have used this company for over 10 years and they’ve been great; however, recently they do not seem to need our business. I have been waiting weeks on a quote for a ductwork install. I wanted to remain loyal to them, but when I called, the woman said they haven’t gotten around to it yet. No apologies, just matter of fact. I no longer recommend them. My business is not appreciated or valued so I’ll go elsewhere. Must be new ownership or something.

I was lied to about why they wouldn’t service my A/C, said “our customers come first, and we are backed up.” I have been a “customer” for 5 years, or at least I thought I was. When I pressed for an answer and talked to the owner he said they can’t buy from Trane, (the new unit my contractor put in the basement). I said ok, just tell me that and I can go elsewhere, but he said he would call and see what he could do. He called back and a week later replaced the warranted compressor. Sent me a bill for $1200, the one-line item says, Labor and Materials to change out warranty compressor. $1200 no details, no breakdown of hours, labor cost materials cost. I’m done with this business.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM FOR ANY HVAC NEEDS YOU HAVE

At one time they were my go to guys. Last experience was terrible. New owners I think. Told me I needed a new AC unit then never would follow up with a price. Called another company and they simply serviced my AC and it has been running like a champ for two years since I was told I needed a new one. Proceed with caution..

Our air conditioning was leaking all over our basement and another company had come out multiple times, unable to fix the issue. Jefferson Heat and Air came out and within 5 minutes was able to diagnose the problem (clogged drain lines) and help us understand how to fix the issue from happening again. Prices are also very, very reasonable compared to the large HVAC companies. Definitely recommend!

Complete joke. Called Monday. Someone came out and said the compressor was dead. Told me they would call and see if it was under warranty and get a price for a new one and call me. FRIDAY I still hadn't heard ANYTHING so I called and was told they hadn't done anything. No calls to see if it was under warranty. No prices. Didn't even call me to tell me it would be another week before they would be able to do anything. The lady on the phone was condescending and extremely unhelpful. Horrible experience and I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

As a current Employee I would advice you call someone else. This company does not follow Fedral EPA laws and freely dumps refrigeration into the atmosphere. They also do not perform load calculations when replacing residential systems. This can cause you to end up with something too small or too large for your home. Use them at your own risk.
