A year and a half ago they installed a complete new system for us. I needed them back today to take care of my poor upkeep of it! They were fantastic both times! They came relatively quickly and were extremely thorough. Today Jermaine checked off all the boxes and then some. He made sure every aspect of our system inside and out was in great working order.
We have been with Ace & A for over 15 years and continue to have great service! Everyone at the office is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We've liked all of our technicians over the years, but Fred, who has serviced our systems for the past handful of years, is absolutely wonderful! He's very honest and knowledgable and so friendly at our appointments. We highly recommend Ace & A to anyone who needs service.
Family has been using them for almost 30 years. Sadly, we had to let them go. Their service has become poor. It took them 4 times rescheduling in spring just for a routine checkup, gave us every excuse in the book. My family had just lost my father unexpectedly and our A/C was on the fritz. We were struggling at the time and did our best to understand that staff was short, people were sick, everybody's AC was needing service. But, getting the run around for 3 months? And now again, when scheduling a month in advance again? Sorry Ace&A, but we have to let you go. 30 years was a long time and we felt forgotten.
When we bought our current home, we signed up for Ace & A's annual maintenance agreement on the recommendation of the previous owners and have had very positive experiences with them. We've had a couple of minor issues as well as the regular maintenance visits and they are always prompt, courteous, and explain things thoroughly. What I like best is I can email them if something comes up outside regular business hours that needs prompt attention but is not an emergency, and they respond very quickly and put me on the schedule for the next business day.
Updating my review to 4 stars - Ace called and made everything right. They said they have never had an issue like this before, and I believe them. The technician was very knowledgeable and helpful, I just wouldn't have approved the extra charges. Would be five stars without the hiccup.

I had a weekend call, which comes with a $150 charge just to come out - which I OK’ed. The technician came out ~ 6 hours later which was awesome. And, he even fixed the issue quickly which was even better (and it was only another $98).
However, what wasn’t great was that my total bill was ~$750. He stayed after fixing the issue, inspecting the air handler and AC unit which I assumed was normal protocol. Then, he started cleaning the outside AC unit which I thought was strange but maybe he’s just thorough. I should’ve known - the bill was 3x the amount it should’ve been which is just terrible. All of the things that he did to my HVAC system may very well have been very useful, but not telling me that these were extra charges or even explaining what they were, and letting me decide for myself, and then charging me FIVE HUNDRED extra dollars is extremely unprofessional.
I’d recommend these guys in a pinch if you absolutely have to, but my experience with them left me very disappointed. Not a great way to run a business.

When my A/C died on the middle of June, I was desperate. I didn't have a go-to HVAC company so I went to Google, read reviews and decided to take a chance on Ace & A. Within a few days after that first call, the techs came out, confirmed that my unit was irreparable and replaced it. I also purchased a maintenance plan and get check ups twice a year. I am very pleased with the service overall.
I called on Ace & A when our gas furnace broke down, on the weekend, of course. On the weekend, you leave a message on an answering machine. Within 30 minutes, they called back. Within an hour, a technician arrived and was diagnosing our heating system. A part was needed and could not be ordered from the supplier until Monday morning. First thing Monday morning, I got a call back telling me the part had been ordered and was being delivered the same day. Before the end of the day, the technician came back with the part and installed it promptly and professionally. They also answered my many questions and were very professional. Definitely going to use this company again.
Live in an older home with original heating unit. It had no issues then just one day stopped working. Contacted Ace & A and they worked with dispatch to get someone out the same day. Jermaine was the tech and he diagnosed that the issue was the pilot light and not the thermostat. He did an analysis of the unit, ran a few checks, and identified what might need to be replaced in the future but confirmed no immediate repairs were needed. He was extremely professional and honest. I would highly recommend Ace & A and I will definitely call them for my own future HVAC needs.
If you are looking for great service with extremely competitive pricing, you have come to the right place. A well know competitor told to replace both my AC units 4 years ago and was told I would have to redo my entire duct word system. Two other companies said same thing. Ace & A told me I did not need to replace my units and it has worked fine for 4 years. In addition, Ace and A's annual maintenance fee was cheaper than my previous carrier. You will be delighted with service and price with Ace and A Heating and Air.
