Coolest Air Conditioning

I noticed an increase of dust in my house while sweeping. I looked under the air handler after taking the filter out and it was covered with green gunk. I did some research and found that the coils needed to be cleaned. I was considering doing it myself until I realized how intensive and potentially dangerous it could be. I called Coolest Air and had them come out to assess the situation. They came the next day, checked out the unit and said they would email me with an estimate for work. I saw the estimate, but I had some questions that they answered over the phone. I agreed to the work and they came the next day a couple of minutes early which was nice. They worked clean and efficiently and were very informative all the way through. When they were done I noticed a huge difference in the way my unit was working. It was blowing so cold and clean, I felt like I had a brand new unit!

After the service Mike and his team at Coolest provided today, they are the only A.C. company I will ever deal with in South Florida.
We had THREE different A.C. companies come to our house and try to force a new system on us, even though we told them repeatedly we just bought our house and could not afford it. They said the compressor was bad, and it would never run again...
That's where Mike and Coolest A.C. comes in. They were referred to us by 2 of our neighbors who said they were honest, on time, and got the job done. So we called today, Mike, the owner, answered the phone himself which was good sign #1. Good sign #2 was that he showed up 1.5 hrs later, right on time. Early actually, as he gave us a 2 hr. window. After about 15 minutes working on the unit, our air came back on!
As it turns out, all our unit needed was a capacitor! All the other companies tried to high pressure us into a new system we could not afford. Mike came out and got that baby running in no time flat! He charged a perfectly reasonable amount to come out and fix our stuff on a Saturday afternoon, & didnt try any high pressure sales b.s.
We were so impressed we also signed up for a maintainence agreement so we know we'll always be taken care of! And when we are ready to replace Coolest will be our guys! If you're looking for an honest, reliable company to come out and take care of your A.C., look no further. Our only wish is that we called Coolest sooner!

I recommend Coolest Air Conditioning & Refrigeration for their client satisfaction, technical expertise and willingness to take care of an emergency without pushing for a quick sale of new expensive equipment: After asking Ana for an emergency repair at 8:30am she schedule my visit for only four hour later, but in one hour Mike call me to ask for some technical details and after checking his parts availability he offers me to meet in 25 minutes to take care of the emergency.
In the building roof the vast majority of the AC units lack identification, without hesitation he help me identify my apartment unit and proceded to make a diagnostic of the failure and provide options, including a free estimate and temporary mitigation to make the equipment work. I decided to follow his recommendation to restore the unit to the level of recommended by the manufacturer, taking away previos bad repairs done for unprofessional technicians.

This company saved us! We had just gotten the flu and we're feeling terrible when the AC died, and Miami, no AC is no joke! They came quickly, told us a price, offered us a portable AC till our new AC could be ordered and shipped. Then they installed our new AC all night. No other company cares enough to do these things! Highly recommend. Thank you guys.

Great customer service. We have a dog and two littles at home and they were great maneuvering around them 😂 I just moved to Miami and my Spanish is not great, and these guys spoke English so that was really helpful. They were the first company to get back to us when we were searching for AC repair and they got out here fast.

Great service! They go above the expected and always best quality. Whenever I had an issue, he would show up ASAP and on time. Very knowledgeable and doesn’t try to sell me service or parts that aren’t needed. An honest and crafted repairman is hard to find these days. Good may not be cheap but cheap ain’t good, get the best and go with Coolest!

Danny was very professional and had the techs at my house within 2 hours. He is in constant communication with you and the technicians. What they did for the free evaluation, I'm sure any other company would have charged for. I would recommend them to everyone!!!

Coolest AC has done good work for us (installation of new AC, repair work of the unit, and maintenance of the unit) but honestly, my favorite thing about this place is Ana. Who is Ana? She is the friendly voice who takes your calls and does follow up. Our old AC guy did not have an Ana. He was in charge of answering, scheduling, following up, etc, etc, and he did it about half the time. This is infuriating when you’re dealing with AC troubles. Ana is on top of every communication and for me, that puts coolest AC at the top of its game.

If you read nothing else here..... GET A 2ND OPINION/ESTIMATE!!

Sure the free estimate is great (brilliant business tactic- it gets them in the door-KUDOS to whomever came up with it!!) but the good ends there. They first quoted an exorbitant price for repairing our 10 year old system and told us they can't guarantee this repair would even fix the problem. Fair enough as it was likely at the end of its life so given that we asked for an estimate to replace it completely, which they quickly provided. It was July, upper floor of a high-rise, miserably HOT and we had no AC so it was tempting to just call them back to do the whole system replacement, but when I looked at the unit after the tech left I noticed he put the filter in backwards! Incompetence? Probably not, just hurried, but it gave me pause. But that in itself was not the dealbreaker. Despite sweating our tails off we thought it prudent to at least get a few more estimates before proceeding so I had two other AC co's come out for estimates and BOTH quoted the IDENTICAL model#/system (in additions to some other brands, giving us more options) FOR $700 and $757(!!!) less than Coolest AC!! And that was without showing them the Coolest estimate-I'd only asked for a price on the same brand/model. Btw, this overpriced estimate included a $100 discount, which makes it even worse. Happy ending here as we got an upgraded Bosch system -which they don't even offer- with a better warranty (full 5/5/5 on compressor/parts/ AND LABOR!) and saved over $650!!

This company is very professional: The work was done in a timely manner and the clean up was awesome. If you ever need the work done for HAC. This company is the place to go. Can you say affordable. Very good pricing for the great work that they do.
