Blown motor fault on our AC. Tech came out, good guy and no complaints on his part. Quote later from manager was $1131 for the motor - i looked it up, watched a YouTube video and its a $247 part with shipping. Sourced here in Tampa. Needless to say I just ordered the motor. It's like 6 screws and half an hour to do - but this company would rather try and hijack me on the price and let my wife and kid suffer in the heat assuming I would be clueless and pay any amount to fix the issue?
