Arctic Fox Cooling Services AC Repair of Homestead, FL

Had standing water in our drip tray and called for a service expecting a clogged drain. Technician came within a few hours diagnosed and came back following day to perform extensive cleaning and the system seems to be working great! Would highly recommend!

I hired Arctic Fox to replace my entire air duct system in my home. After testing my old air ducts for asbestos, it was determined my air ducts needed to be completely replaced. In addition, some of the old air ducts were in very bad condition. Arctic Fox installed the entire system, even routed and installed new air ducts to areas in the attic that previously had none, as well as new vents to rooms they determined would benefit and improve the overall cooling of my home.

The work was done so well and so clean that even the insulation company I hired afterwards commented on it, saying they had never seen such clean and professional duct work as what they witnessed in my attic. haha.

I’m so glad I chose Arctic Fox for this huge project. I will eventually need to update my unit as well and there really is no other company I would trust on that job. The install team was amazing, professional, and courteous. The administrative side of the operation was terrible enough that I would not recommend them. I received a quote around 8/8/22 due to my old unit beyond its life expectancy and not operating optimally. Proceeded to purchase a new unit and install was performed quickly around 8/11/22.

After multiple attempts speaking with the front office and being ignored, they managed to finally submit the permit application on 9/8/22. The permit was approved 9/16/22 which was over a month after the install of the unit. I was told that they skipped the permit process because my A/C was not performing correctly in the middle of the summer (despite me specifically telling them that we weren't in a rush for an install). Additionally, I was quoted that the permit was a set cost of $500 through the city (while the city only charged $134) and that they processed the paperwork complimentary. After speaking with Arctic Fox at length, they ultimately ended up saying that they would be refunding $305 of the permit charge (after stating there was additional fees) on Monday after the weekend. The following Wednesday afternoon, I was informed that they were only processing a $195 refund.

Every step of the way, Arctic Fox refused to take responsibility for their lack of action and would often attempt to shift blame. Much like a grade school argument, they did not want to listen to concerns of the customer and had to have the last word in all discussions regardless of the circumstances. If the administrative side of things had 1/10th of the professionalism of the install team, Arctic Fox would be a knockout company. The rude individuals in the office, failure to ensure appropriate permitting prior to work, and creation of additional fees after the fact is what killed the company for me. The customer should not have to follow-up on the contractor to ensure that proper permitting fees are charged and that the permit was even applied for. I opted to go with them because of their reviews and the fact that they look like a great facility on the surface. After seeing how they inflate invoices, mess up paperwork, fail to apply for necessary permits, and their ideas of treating people who pay them for a service...I would take a hard pass and keep moving down the road.

My AC started shutting on and off 2 days ago. I was desperate to find someone but in the past I have delt with companies that are over priced and never really fix the problem. I found this company on Google and saw the reviews so I said let me try and I am so pleased. 1st off let's start with the scheduling, they work with the time that you have available. Secondly, they gave up dates on their time of arrival which was great. I was greeted by 2 gentlemen and before they even came in my home they put shoe coverings on. I have had a dozens of repair people in my home and they never cover their shoes. I explained the issue and they knew right away what I was talking about. I had a dozen questions and they answered all of them, never once making me feel like I dont know anything because I'm a women. The service was priced fair, and i even signed up for their yearly maintenance which you can't go wrong with living in hot miami..great service👍🏽

Shawn did an exceptional service. He was very knowledgeable on the A/C. He let us know all the details and he arrived within 5-10minutes!! He went straight to work when he arrived. Great communication and customer service skills and labor work. HIGHLY recommend!!

Excellent technicians (Michael & Roger) and excellent customer service. Complete removal of old HVAC system & install of new HVAC system on a Saturday no less. Good price & clean work. These guys come highly recommended from me & my family.

The service was great, the technician, Ariel, was professional and polite.
Originally the unit was installed by Artic Fox Cooling Services and they have always stay in contact and back up their work timely and very dependable. I'll recommend them without hesitation to Anyone that needs an AC or Maintenance.

Sally and Christine are awesome on the phone - - and they always answer their phone! The technicians are prompt and professional, and they provided me with options both times i used them for my A/C repair and recently for my heating elements which hadn't been used in years. This company was recommended to me by a local realtor group, and they have not disappointed. I highly recommend Arctic Fox!
