Always a positive experience working with the folks from Cool Today and Kim made it another good experience. Working with Cool Today for the install and then follow ups has been a pleasure. I bought a home and even though fully inspected the AC units failed the first day meaning they were likely patched up for the inspection only. I quoted with three providers and they were not the cheapest but the best to work with for sure. They set their appointments and show up every time.
They follow up quickly and always make it right. Each team member I have interacted with has been very professional, experienced and good to talk to about issues. I recommend them for any AC work for sure.

I have been very satisfied with the Cool service. Unfortunately, it was a weekend, and they could not come until later in the evening of the same day I called. However, they did come and found the problem with the A/C immediately. They did not have the correct part, but managed to find a temporary replacement until the correct one was ordered and replaced after the weekend. Thank goodness as we were in the middle of extreme high, humid temperatures. I have had Cool for a number of years, and would feel confident recommending them to anyone. The service people are always pleasant and competent.

I agree with another reviewer DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY! We were looking to install a 4 ton 16 seer unit in our house. We called numerous companies and received estimates and this was the highest but was a Carrier product and we had a carrier in our house for the past 18 years and it ran great. We spoke with Mike Fishbein, the sales rep, and he sent us an estimate for a 4 ton 14 seer unit. The thing about this company's estimates are they do not say anywhere on them the size of the unit or seer rating. The consumer has to cut and paste the model into Google to see what it is. Mike's stance was we never discussed seer rating? Really? Who buys a car without picking a model?

The installers came out and installed a condenser where some of the aluminum fins were already bent. Instead of pointing this out, trying to fix it or replacing it, they left. The company did agree to replace it. The following evening, the drip pan below the unit was filled with water. A tech was sent out at 9pm at night and advised us the air handler was improperly installed by the original crew and instead of being tilted toward the drain line, the unit was tilted the other way. The water was gathering in the unit and could not drain anywhere except into the pan. This is the same installers that installed the damaged condenser. The tech finally left around 11pm. 2 days owned, 2 problems discovered.
Repeated emails and requests were made to speak with someone other than Mike to discuss the misleading sales tactics and the problems we were having. Those requests went unanswered even after Mike assured me he would have someone call me.

After discussing the issues we were having with the new equipment with Mike, he did have them replaced but he continued to decline our request to speak with someone above him and to install the 16 seer unit we requested. Again Mike stood by his beliefs that we never discussed seer ratings and only discussed price. I did agree to have the condenser and air handler replaced as that seemed to be my only remedy. Duke Energy has a rebate program and Mike did agree to provide the amount of the rebate we would have received had the proper unit been installed.

The following morning, the equipment was replaced. The company had the nerve to send out the same installers that installed the original unit incorrectly. We refused and a different set of installers was sent out.

That afternoon, I finally received a call from Bryant, who said he is Mike supervisor. The first call with Bryant, he claimed he understood our issues with Mike and would have the 16 seer unit installed. Later in the afternoon, Bryant called back and began blaming and trying to bully me, saying it was my fault for allowing the 2nd unit to be installed and they were not going to replace it with the 16 seer unit. This was the opposite of what he said during the 1st call. At that time, I gave them the option of replacing it with the 16 seer or removing the equipment. The company does have a 3 year money back guarantee and they will pay you $250, so I will be taking them up on that.

Today, I received a call from Tom Harmon, the operation manager. Instead of trying to rectify the situation by doing the right thing, Tom stated he was not going to eat the cost of a 3rd installation. Just prior to that statement, he went on to state how they donate units all the time so donating the 1st unit that was removed wasn't an issue. There would have been minimal cost difference from the replacement and the labor. Tom's stance was that our requests to speak with someone other than Mike was known, but that is not how they do business. If you are unhappy with someone, they continue to have the same person you are unhappy with talk to you. Tom refused to compromise and said he will leave what we have and provide the rebate as promised or we can have them remove the equipment and pay us $250. We chose to go with another company.

If you choose to do business with this company, good luck. Make sure what you are buying is specifically stated on the estimate.

    Exceptional Service
Called in yesterday to schedule an appointment, Lynn was very accommodating. She found a time that worked for me, explained the costs and process.
The technician Pedro Murillo was quick and to the point. There was not a single moment where this young man demonstrated any lack of confidence. He called ahead, arrived when he was expected to arrive, and got to work. Within 5 minutes, he had the problem diagnosed and a plan in place.
He offered his professional opinion on several elements of my systems and made recommendations of what to be aware of or maintain.
I couldn't be happier with the service call.
Great Job Pedro and thank you Cool Today!!!

Just found out from Mother-in-law that the sink stopper in her bathroom sink was not holding water. She has a habit of not informing me of problems. Found out that in 2018 when Cool Plumbing installed her new Moen faucet for us that he did not install the new sink stopper. He told her the old one was fine and took the one that was included with our new faucet. The person doing work for us yesterday tried to fix it but said need the part that came with faucet. Said that the plumber that installed it probably just didn't want the hassle of installing that on a pedastal sink. Never use these people. They also tried to sell us on a $900 new garbage disposal when another company was able to just tighten some screws.

Very impressed with Jeremy's assessment of our air quality and flow. Found him to be very knowledgeable and thorough. Recently had an ac system installed...Jeremy was able to pin-point quickly where duct work was poorly installed and causing alot of airflow issues in our home. My husband and I really appreciate Cool TODAY'S FREE 2nd opinion and assessment. I would highly recommend them and we're seriously considering contracting with CT for our future ac needs.

My AC drain needed flushing and cleaning. The technician was utmost professional, answered my questions, and also took the time to explain what he was doing. He also took the time to give me tips on what I can do to reduce the possibility of this happening again. Top notch service quality.

Both the office and technician were efficient and pleasant to deal with. I like the fact that the company does background checks on their employees. In addition, you receive an email with the technician's name and photo before he arrives at your door. AND ... he arrived on time!

Kevin did a great job installing a 52 inch ceiling fan on a 12 ft ceiling and replacing an electrical switch. He was very professional. I highly recommend this company.
