So I called chance in a panic cause I’m a new home owner, my unit was leaking I didn’t know what was happening or going on, chance answered the call said he would be here in 15-20 mins. Our AC went out and temperatures inside reached 84⁰, I quickly did a Google search and A-1 B Cool had great reviews. Russ was super professional and he was at my home in 30min. Ive had no problems with my AC unit until today. We had a lightning strike near by and power went out around 6 o'clock tonight (Friday evening). AC compressor never came back on. I had a friend recommend A-1 B So we called and the owner came out in about 30 minutes without hesitation. He looked over the system (which is almost 10 years old), and could easily have sold me a new system but he was very honest. Turns out it was only some contact points not working right and causing the compressor to pull too much amperage with a sluggish start. Changed a part for less than 200 bucks out the door. No need for Freon or anything else. The house is COLD again less than 15 minutes later!! Excellent company. I WILL be using them for anything AC related in the future.
