Last Summer I called Orion Air based on all the wonderful reviews I found online. All of those great reviews were spot on! At the time, my very old AC was out and Jim was there within a couple of hours to take a look and fixing the issue for the time that my old system had left. Jim was honest and explained to me, what a friend previously also had suggested, that it would soon be time to replace my entire system. He provided me a ballpark figure on what likely the cost would be. Fast forward to three weeks ago, the AC system finally gave up and I called Orion, on a Friday afternoon, for Jim to come over and prepare an estimate. Diane, fit me in on Monday morning and Jim worked out a great deal on a brand new system with the smart thermostat I had wanted to eventually upgrade to, included. All of this for around the price he quoted last Summer which was just wonderful knowing all the tariffs levied since then on the materials. He created the invoice and the guys, Tony and John, were there on Thursday to install the entire thing in a matter of hours. They double checked everything, stayed extra time to make sure everything was working in tip-top shape and within 25 minutes my home was 10 degrees cooler while working with the sun beaming brightly through the window! The entire experience, from wonderful Diane, the office manager, to Tony and John, who even swept the floors afterwards, to Jim who is an honest, customer service oriented business professional. Jim is not here to sell you what you do not need, he could have done so with me when I asked for a possible larger unit. I would wholeheartedly recommend Orion AC for any repairs, maintenance and professional system installs of name brand recognized systems, to anyone looking for wonderful customer service, reasonable pricing and true professionals backing their product! Most recently I had damage to my A/C from the hurrican and Orion Air came to the rescue immediately - and their charges were very reasonable. Diane & Jim always treat me like family. I highly recommend them.

Jim came out to save the day! It was a while back, I am reviewing his stellar service now. Another company had been ripping me off for years, replacing compressor and on and on on a new system (yes, some parts were under warranty, the labor and cooling fluid were not - $$). And still they couldn’t fix the issue of the system not cooling properly. Over a year of that and about $2,000 spent. Found Orion Air on web and thanks to their well-deserved top reviews, gave them a try. I am so glad I did. Jim pinpointed the issue that had been present all along and I was able to get the other company to finally fix it properly at no extra charge. Unbelievable. It took a skilled tech/owner, Jim, an hour or so to find the problem that the other company blatantly skipped while selling me other stuff and coming up with excuses as to why the system was not cooling well. (“Low ceiling”, “no attic insulation”, “old system 😳”, etc.)

My husband and I got a new a/c installed about two years ago, less than a month after installation we started having issues with the new ac and started noticing condensation, soon after you could see where there were holes appearing in our handler. We dealt with this nightmare for two years for fear of trusting a new ac company to handle the repairs. We were fortunate enough to find Orion online and took a leap of faith. They have exceeded above and beyond our expectations and we cannot say enough good things about this company. From scheduling our appt to the date of our appt they were puntual, courteous and put all of our fears to rest. They were able to take our excisting handler that was so badly installed and turn it into a handler that we did not even recognize it looked soo good. We are beyond pleased with the service we received and continue to receive from them because we will no longer use or trust anyone else with our a/c system. Jim at Orion heating and air is truly great at his job, we are no longer worried about having future costly repairs.

Orion has been fixing my AC for quite sometime. Jim has always provided great service at a great price. They recently replaced a unit on my new shop and the process was great. They did it on a Monday while we were closed so that it won't interfere with regular business hours. The technicians were courteous and very clean. One technician came back and had a ladder ready for the inspector and we never got inconvenienced. I absolutely recommend Jim and the Orion crew.

Installed brand new unit that stopped working within one year. Jim misdiagnosed issue then refused to honor 1 year warranty. Had to pay out of pocket to repair 8 month old system. Jim then said he would reimburse 1/2 and now just refuses to answer me or pay anything. (it was under warranty...) Then blamed me for hiring someone else to fix his issue. Really sad considering I had used him for 5 years without an issue.

We are new to the Clearwater area and when our AC went down, we had a couple companies come out to look at it and diagnose the issue. A few of those companies provided high quotes and recommended a new system (our system is a 2015 system).

We then called Jim and his company to take a look and quote us on what was needed. Not only were we very pleased with the quote Jim provided, but we were also pleased with how he went about his work. Jim told us exactly what was needed and explained in detail (showing us first hand) what was wrong. He thoroughly researched the Warranty on the system/parts required and made sure we weren't charged for that. A couple of the other companies did not tell us anything about potential warranties. He was also right on time, efficient and very polite. Extremely honest, fair and just a nice guy in general. We will definitely be using Jim and Orion Heating & Air for our future AC issues. Jim has been taking care of our heating and A/C system for many years. When we have an issue he responds very quickly, diagnoses the problem and fixes it as fast as possible. Last week our A/C went out, we called Orion and Jim came out in the morning. The problem was the fan motor in the air handler. Jim ordered a replacement and came back in the evening to install it so we would not be without A/C that evening. I know he must have been tired from working all day in the heat but he put our needs first. His prices are fair and he takes care of his customers. Highly recommend this business.
