Was quoted a price for 2ton unit that I accepted. Suddenly I received a text stating that the price was $350 more because they needed to rent a piece of equipment to left the unit up to the roof of the garage. Two years ago I bought another unit from them and was not charged for this equipment. Sounds to me like bate and switch. Will not do business with Air&Heat again. Buyer beware.

Diagnosed my problem right away and fixed it promptly. They seem reasonably priced and fair. Very happy and would absolutely use them again.
I want to update this review from a few years ago. By a weird coincidence they came out to my house and inspected my AC. I told them about my previous experience and they apologized and made me a great deal on changing out my ductwork. they also gave me a 1 year free inspection service. I accepted their reason for the previous bad service - it was because of a previous employee. They did a real job on the ductwork and price was great. So, I forgive them.
They installed my new AC unit in April 2016. Came right out and installed it fast, but said they'd come out by 8 days later after the flashing was made and install it. 2 weeks and a few days later, I had to call them and they said it hadn't been that long. I said they could have called. They came out the next day. OK, I accepted that imperfection. A year later, I called in early April to get an annual maintenance inspection, which is required for the unit's warranty. They set an appointment for May 3, cost was $29. I called on May 2 to see what time. They said I wasn't on their schedule, didn't know what I was talking about. They said they could come out on Monday May 8. I made them promise to call me on May 8 and tell me what time. They called and said they can't come out at all, they are too busy installing new units. I guess making appointments and promises doesn't matter to them. They lied. They said they don't know when they can come out as it's so busy. I will never deal with them again. How they get repeat business I don't know. I got someone else. They wanted $114 for an annual inspection. I guess Air and Heat was going to be cheaper, but if they don't come out anyway, they aren't cheaper. They just lie.
My AC was not blowing cool air, their technician said that the coolant is low, and I said just add some coolant and he was not willing saying there is a leak and there will be some EPA fine if he does so. He would only add coolant if I pay $5500 to get a new system or $2000 to change the coil. I ended up paying him $220 for NOT fixing it. I know the coolant is designed for life time, but the reality is they leak! It is crazy if anyone has low coolant would need to spend $5500 to get new AC. This is unreasonable ! I will never use this company again!!
We have been an Air & Heat customer since we purchased our home in 2012. Jeff performed our most recent maintenance on June 14 and made some good suggestions for filter replacements and the cleaning of the return pipe on the AC unit. Great service as always.
We had a vert bad experience with Sam. Our existing unit has broke down after hurricane Irma and we have asked for the estimate to get a new unit which has been installed later by Air&Heat totaling $4500. During the last maintenance visit on 06/17/2019 Sam the technician with Air&Heath has informed us that our compressor is about to stop working soon and it will require $1200 in labor cost to cover labor to replace the compressor. He suggested that we must install $300 part which will prevent somehow AC unit from lightning which will destroy compressor even further. I asked Sam why this part has not been installed in the first place or recommended to us when new unit was installed. He didn't have any answer for my question. I have asked Sam to get in touch his management to discuss this issue. He said that none was available at the moment. Later he said he will try to call, stepped outside and left without any explanation or follow up. Today is 6/25, our less than 2 year old unit is not performing well (not cooling down) and we haven't received any follow up phone call about our very concerning situation.
This company was very courteous and professional when I have had them out for service. They were honest and didn't make a mess for me to clean up. I would call them for a major installation or repair of my units.
