T&H Mechanical Systems

There aren't enough positive things to say about T&H Mechanical Systems. They have been really helpful in our hunt for a new HVAC system. They have been really helpful with their expertise, experience, and honesty! T&H Mechanical Systems has been a pleasure to work with.

Today, Their tech performed an excellent job of resolving my HVAC air conditioning repair needs. He was punctual and incredibly nice, professional, and patient. Throughout, it was a nice and trouble-free experience. I can't say enough excellent things about the service he provided. I really suggest it to others.

Our technician is really kind and knowledgable. He did an excellent job of explaining what is required to maintain our house up and running. I also enjoy that there is no pressure to purchase any equipment when they come to visit, and they are always willing to assist when we have the financial means. T&H Mechanical Systems is fantastic. They converted our oil boiler to gas and gave a good price. They were professional and kept to the schedule. Over the last couple of years we have had issues with the boiler we chose. Harold has personally dealt with the company, making sure the warranty was adhered to and eventually pushed for a brand new boiler, which we received. They then offered to fit the new boiler for free, even though the fault was with the boiler itself, which they did. They stood by their work, were always out immediately when needed and have given a great service over the last couple of years.

We called T & H this past summer, when our A/C stopped working. The owner, Harold, showed up to check things out; he was personable and articulate. He assessed the options promptly and explained everything to us in detail. His bid was similar to the other bid we had received but the fact that his was a family business and that he clearly takes pride in his work...we decided to give him the job. Turned out to be a good decision. He and his crew showed up on time, in good moods, and installed a brand new condensing unit and furnace (on it's last legs) in about a day and a half. Harold answers emails and phone calls promptly and I just learned he checks his non-emergency messages over the weekends. We put a call into him late on a Saturday, when the shop was closed...with a small problem and expected we'd talk to him on Monday. He called us a few hours later and said he'd be here by 10:00 am the next morning. He showed at 9:45 and took care of the problem. Can't ask for more than that. Our experience has been great. We now have our service contract with T&H. Dependable and pleasant.

This was my best experience with a contractor in our new home. Harold the owner was very good at walking the system explaining to me what he was looking at so I learned the system as a new owner. He found the issue, not only fixed that, he fixed a couple other small items. The entire time explaining to me what he was doing so I could look after the system unless there was a major issue. I was not clear how much I would be charged above and beyond the fee to come out. He charged me for the one hour with no add on charges or fees. We plan on living here for a long time and T & H Mechanical have earned our business for certain. Highly recommend!

Very please with recent install of central AC unit! Unit failed during heat spell and engaged several local HVAC contractors, Harold responded within minutes. After several discussions with contractors we found Harold to be by far the most professional and thorough in terms of what would be involved . The unit was installed the next day and at a very competitive price. Small, efficient , quality contractor!

Harold and The T and H team have serviced 3 of my homes over the last 20years. They are all knowledgeable of the products they install and service, repesctful of my home, trustworthy, and always punctual and ready to help in any emergency that may occur ( and I ve had a few!) As a realtor I have recommended them many times and all my clients have remarked on these same qualities.
I am grateful to have met Harold many years ago, and feel fortunate that he is still so intrinsically with the company today.

I used T&H to replace my central air system (everything but the ducts and dampers).

I comparison shopped and got a number of quotes. Harold, the owner, personally performed the estimate for T&H. Harold was very prompt and professional in his communication. He didn't have the lowest price but he was competitive. Harold quoted me multiple options for dealing with my blown compressor. Harold was very creative in presenting multiple options with the goal of finding the most cost effective solution to my problem. He offered an option no other shop did - replacing my condenser and upgrading my evaporator/air-handler to puron/R410a refrigerant. I opted for a full system replacement. It was important to me that they complete the work quickly as I was without air conditioning and we've had a few hot days. We agreed to do the work on Friday and the work was completed by the following Wednsday. Yan and Joe performed the install and did excellent work - they were courteous and tidy. Yan addressed a few extra things that he observed while doing the work free of charge (e.g. improving a semi-functional motorized vent for an attic fan which he had to remove during the install). I am pleased with the quality of work and feel it was reasonably priced.
