Very friendly and helpful. Had some issue with our furnace fan and even though he was completely booked he took the time to walk me through some steps over the phone. I ended up called back several time and he was always happy to point me in the right direction. Im very thankful for the direction and good advi e so five stars just for that

Jason is awesome and very knowledgeable. Great service when fixing the issues with our furnace and air conditioner. Very professional and dependable. I am extremely satisfied and thankful that Jason fixed the work that was done incorrectly by someone else before we bought our home. We will never use anyone but VO for our heating and cooling needs!!!

Jason arrived first thing after my condensor unit blew a capacitor. Quickly ascertained the issue and had my house cooling off in no time. He even took the time to explain how the old capacitor blew out because some put in the wrong ( he tripled checked before putting it in). Great price, courteous and swift service. You need HVAC work, VO has got ya!

Replaced an old a/c system for our house. Professionally done, quick, easy to work with and affordable. Jason Van Orden and his company were personally recommended to me by a friend and I must admit to be very happy with the work he did. He did highlight potential issues with my boiler as well, but also explained that I didn't need to spend money on it at the time - i.e. he wasn't trying to push me into purchasing something I didn't need at that moment. I liked that level of integrity. If I have plumbing or a/c problems in the future, I will be contacting Jason at VO first.

I only leave reviews when I think a business is exceptional and VO is an exceptional business! Jason and his crew were fast, friendly, professional, efficient and gave us an estimate to fix our furnace thousands of dollars less than another company. I would highly recommend them! Apparently a 5-star review is nothing new for them either.

A big shout out to Jason Van Orden, V O Hearing and Cooling in Thornton. He and his crew did a fantastic job installing new furnace and AC for us just last week. Trane system, which is hard to come by among the various businesses in the area, but we felt was best. And, it's so great to work with a small business!! We got to talk directly to Jason, who's the owner, and knows his stuff -- not some sales person who never installed squat. Didn't try to sell us on larger system, even tho we already thought we needed one, based on talking to other companies. His pricing -- way better than others. AND he even showed up for the install. Actually, was here working the whole time, and brought 3 additional crew. They were fast, clean, got rid of all the old stuff, amazing. Jason spent time explaining everything while his guys were cleaning up and checking that all worked perfectly. Don't go to the big companies on Xcel's partner site. Some of them didn't even call us back!!

Oh, and he came to talk to us FAST, and installed within
a week (our system wasn't broken, btw).

Found our AC broken on a hot Saturday. Jason picked up the call, showed up in less than an hour, and fixed the problem in less than another hour. Friendly and professional. Low charge ($100) considering that it was more like an emergency service.

Jason and his assistant were prompt, professional, and installed my ac/furnace in the time promised. Jason was polite and courteous, taking time to explain and teach operation of the new system. I would recommend him for your next project, and will use him for future needs.

I would not recommend VO Heating and Cooling. We have worked with Jason (owner) for the last 2 years. There have been so many problems and I’m glad we found another company.
First of all, it’s more expensive than other companies. Our new companies installation fee of a new swamp cooler was a solid $500 less than what we paid Jason.
More importantly, the care and service you get is garbage. Each summer our swamp cooler would simply not blow out cool air. I had so many people tell me that’s not normal for a swamp cooler, and I would assure them it was just serviced.
This summer Jason recommended we get a new spigot installed because of leakage, so we did. Two days later it’s leaking even worse. I text Jason and he writes that he will “see what he can do”. I never hear from him again. I waited three weeks before calling a new company. They came and fixed the leak but also took a look at the swamp cooler (remember, jason had just serviced it 6 weeks before) because it wasn’t blowing cool air.
They took pictures of the problem and asked when the last time it was serviced. When I said 6 weeks they said “impossible”. 8 out of the 10 pipes for the water were completely plugged up with leaves from the fall. Not only that, there were pieces broken on and around the swamp cooler. By the time they left our swamp cooler actually worked properly.
Jason or his guys never cleaned out the pipes and didn’t fix the broken parts. I have pictures to prove it. Jason kept insisting that it’s working great and that’s just how the air feels on hot days.
When I wrote Jason asking for a refund from his last two visits (the two visits he neglected to clean out the swamp cooler and fix the spigot, and we had to pay another company to the job he was paid to do), he refused. He tried to blame me for the spigot saying it wasn’t his fault I broke it after he left, and he didn’t even respond to the clogged pipes.
Do not work with jason. He was totally negligent and unprofessional. He charged us for work he never did and kept the money. My parents also had him work for them for years and they said the same thing about him.

VO Heating and Cooling is always great to work with. Reliable, and they answer their phones! I can always count on Jason to provide timely and competitively priced services. As a property manager, it is very important to have good vendors like VO Heating and Cooling. They are on the top of my 'go to' list.
