Just had our A/C and furnace replaced (over 20 yrs old) this past week and couldn't be any happier with the performance. Called Rocky Mountain on Monday to discussed our option and they were able to come out on Thursday to complete the installed, just in time for the weekend heat. I recommend them if looking to replace old A/C or furnace.

My number one concern with HVAC, car repairs, etc is getting a trumped up quote. I did my homework on what to expect as a consumer and that’s exactly what they delivered. They are timely, professional, and exude pride and doing the job right. Heck, the owner took the time to explain all the mechanics of a furnace before he even knew if I was going with them! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a competitive price.

The people here are a joke to the hvac industry. They won't honor their warranty and Tracey is unprofessional and has the worst customer service ever.called 5 times and left messages until they answered the phone .Ac broke after 3 years, quality of work is trash.there motto is not hvac repair and maintenance it's just sell you a new system when they don't know how to fix it.

I had my house built in 2017, and I opted to go with a third-party company to install my AC unit, rather than the builder's option. Initially, they were very prompt, installed the AC unit, and promised yearly/routine maintenance on it.
I chalked it up to them being busy. However, I have tried multiple times to have them come out and inspect the unit, but, alas, I have zero check-ups.
Recently, I have had troubles with my furnace, and I figured I would give them a second chance. I called them and left a message on their website two days ago. We have had freezing temperatures the past two days and wanted the furnace fixed to heat our house. Unfortunately, no response or call back.
It's a shame really, they were very prompt and professional in the beginning, but responsiveness and punctuality towards their work and product has failed.
Since I live in Brighton, my wife decided to call a local company, Premier Comfort Heating and Air. They showed up that day, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it with zero issues.

After reading through your response, I am a little confused on why you are so defensive.
First, both my wife and I called numerous times in 2017 to service our AC unit that your company installed. Which I am happy to report that your company did an amazing job. The frustrating part is calling your clients liars and stupid. I was happy to give you guys a second chance on fixing my furnace. Which in my previous email, I never said you installed. I wanted to offer your company some business.
Second, I never addressed that it was an emergency in my previous statement. I just reiterated that it was cold in the house and wanted your company to help fix it.
Third, if you offer the capability of leaving a message on your website and want your clients to call, then delete this option. I did this for convenience. If it's not convenient to your business, then remove the option.
Lastly, I was patient with your company, offered a second chance, and under no circumstances was I rude or derogatory towards you or your business. Google allows the option for review on company businesses and I took it upon myself to do so. I never called your company incompetent or liars, so taking this unprofessional correspondence to this level is rather disappointing. It's unfortunate you have taken this stance and good luck on your future endeavors.
After writing this review, I decided to call the company and express my concerns with him. Sadly, it didn't go too well. The owner was accusatory and rude towards me. I even tried to help him draft a better response for his customers so he may retain their business.
I am trying to be as reserved as I can, but I have never been spoken to like this ever in my life. The owner's customer service is beyond atrocious. The very last statement he said to me was, "NEVER CALL HERE AGAIN!" As a high school administrator, former Air Force Veteran, and involved with the Brighton Community, I cannot and will not support your business, customer service, and overall negative attitude to a stranger. Good luck to you, sir! If this is how your treat your customers, you won't hear from me again (as you graciously yelled it over the phone), and I will not recommend your business to anyone I know!

Quoted a great price that included everything, even a new thermostat. Install was done quickly and met all of my expectations and needs. A/C works great, and I love the shiny new glossy green compressor! Converted from the old refrigerant to the new with no issues.

In response to your response: It's clear you have chosen a path of lying and deceit over honesty and human decency. I'm thankful I won't have to deal with that on my death bed. One more thing to note, is that they claim they have been in business since 2003, but if you look up their business with the Colorado Secretary of State, their date of formation is in October 2014 which was registered to Tracy's trailer park, then expired and re-registered in 2016. But knowing Tracy, he will call the Colorado Secretary of State's office liars and claim that their information is false, which we all know is not true.
Original Post:
Tracy talks a good game, but in the end, these guys don't know what they're doing. Just look at the "Not currently recommended" reviews on Yelp, and you will see what I am talking about. The first appointment I had scheduled, they didn't show. I called them to see what was going on, and Tracy claimed they had mixed up and had me in their calendar for the following Friday even though the paperwork stated that day, okay so I rescheduled. Then they showed up for the second appointment, walked around looking at things, and after about an hour, said they had some bad news. The bad news (which in the end was great news for me), was that they weren't going to be doing the work today. Why?
Because I need a wireless thermostat (and their supplier was closed on a Friday?) because I only have 2 wires and they couldn't figure out how to get the additional wires from the thermostat into the basement. I told them no problem, I will take responsibility for running my own wires (literally about 6 feet of wire from the furnace, and straight down into the basement), and since I have another heat source it wasn't urgent to have my furnace running, I was just looking to get it replaced. I also suggested placing the thermostat somewhere easy and more convenient for them, but they didn't like that idea either.
Their story then turned into a pipe being misaligned which is why they couldn't do the work, because it might cost me more. No problem I said. The pipe was not off, and was not a problem, so I said I will take responsibility for it and do it myself if it's an issue. I said that all's I really needed was to just swap out my furnace and a/c unit and we're good. Well they didn't even have the units with them? Hmm, red flag.
I have operated my own home repair business in the past, so I am no stranger to some of this work, but in the end, after I had solutions for all of 'their problems', they just told me that they were leaving, and that Tracy, the owner, would be calling me. I called him, left a message, and have heard nothing back from them, similar to all the other buried reviews I found on yelp.
My assumption is they are not quality contractors, and don't know exactly what they're doing, so they are only looking for the extremely easy, low-hanging fruit where they can simply swap something out and be done because they don't have the ability to do anything outside of a simple swap, if that. If they ran a quality business, they also wouldn't have to post 20 CL advertisements per day trying to lure people in (that was my fault). All the reviews on google seem to be good (which a majority of the reviewers have given just one review ever, so they are probably fake) which is why I went for their service, but after they didn't show and I never heard back from them, I researched some more and found all those other buried reviews.
Things typically unfold how they are supposed to, and I was not supposed to have these amateurs doing a professionals job. Oh, and icing on the cake was that they broke my stair down going down to the basement and left immediately after without fixing.

Called and spoke to Tracey. Made an appt. for an inspection for a new furnace. Not only did he not show up, he did not do us the courtesy of call ing either. They also would not pick up the phone or return the call. If they cannot communicate, most likely do not offer a quality service either. Stay away from this company.

I had both my Air Conditioner and furnace replaced by them. The price was affordable and we have had no issues. Tracy is very knowledgeable. Would recommend to friends in the future!

Came out 2 business days after I called them and installed a new AC and Furnace. Significantly cheaper than the competition - why pay 2-3x as much for a Trane or American Standard (which have similar enough failure rates according to consumer reports)? Very happy with the outcome and speed of service - thanks guys! The HVAC business seems to do a lot of price gouging - don't fall for it.
