Rocky Mountain Air systems was amazing! gave us a quote over the phone twice that didn't change. Called on Wed for a quote and then again on Friday. They cam out today (Monday). They were on time and did exactly what they said. The price quoted didn't change and they even offered an additional discount that we weren't quoted. We looked at 2 other companies and they were the best priced and did amazing work! I definitely recommend them. They didn't over charge and were honest, responsive, and showed us everything. Be very careful getting a quote over the phone from Tracy. Our original conversation was very pleasant and Tracy sounded like he knew what he was doing. He asked about the square footage of the areas being served by our AC unit that needed replacement and whether it was located in the attic or in the basement. I told him it was serving our upstairs floor 1500 sf and the unit was in the attic.
Tracy told me I needed a 2 Ton unit and quoted me $3899 for the Amana Air conditioner. Price included installation.
I offered to take a photo of the existing unit and send it to him if needed.
Tracy said it wasn't needed.
I agreed to the price and scheduled the installation.
Tate, the technician was fantastic. Friendly, communicated well, was on time and was very respectful.
When he investigated the existing equipment he let me know that the actual unit was 3 Tons (Not 2 as indicated by Tracy) and that the attic furnace was mounted on its side, not upright.
The price Tracy then quoted me was $2000 more and he indicated that it would take at least 2 more weeks.
My frustration stems from the fact that Tracy didn't ask the right questions and shouldn't have provided a quote over the phone if he didn't know all the information.
Tracy told me that I told him the size of the system and that the furnace was mounted upright.
I have no HVAC experience and wouldn't know anything about what sizes system I have or how a furnace was mounted.
When I confronted him he called me a liar and told me to never call back again and hung up the phone. He is a lose cannon.
I feel bad for his installers that have to be the bearers of bad news to the customers with such a volatile owner.
Buyer beware.

We can't say enough good things about our experience with Rocky Mountain Air Systems. Our central A/C has been broken for years and we didn't have it replaced due to outlandish quotes for replacement from big box stores and others. Not only Was RMAS the best priced for a quality Amana system they also provided outstanding service from initial quote to the expert installation. The A/C was installed on time for the quoted price. It is great to enjoy a cool home on those hot days. Thank you Tracy and crew!

Great furnace install in my crawl space. The guy who did the install, Tate, he was so helpful and informative. He explained everything he did and how to work my thermostat. Great price and great work! I highly recommend this company, I will definitely be using them for my AC when it needs replacing!

Tracy was referred to us by a friend after having some unreasonable quotes and experiences with larger companies. He was able to give us a reasonable quote over the phone after asking a few questions. He seemed very knowledgable and was able to answer all of my questions. We decided to use him for our new A/C install and set a date. Tracy and his crew showed up on time and completed the job in a timely fashion. He was also able to recommend an electrician for us who was able to come on short notice and did an excellent job,

These guys did a great job. They gave a teacher discount!!! They were able to come install within a week of us calling. When they were here, the installer worked around our schedule, did not take too long and was super polite. All around a great experience. We would highly recommend.

RMAS recently installed a new air conditioning system in my home, they made the process very straightforward. My appointment was scheduled for 9 am, they arrived early and were very friendly and professional. Tate set expectations, discussed concerns, and communicated effectively. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable about the products used, and were very patient with the questions asked. We received quotes from other companies but went with RMAS because the price was unbeatable. I would highly recommend their services and will use them in the future!

Our Ac/heater has been on the fritz for years and we've hired many handymen but no one could fix it. We were told by one company that a new system would cost $15,000!!! Yikes!!! However, Rocky Mountain Air System did it for almost a third of the price!!! The employees were friendly, kind and trustworthy. In fact, my whole family went out to lunch while they were working! Overall, I would totally recomend this service and will be using them again if I encounter any troubles with my air system in the future!

Tracy and his guys have successfully installed four AC systems for me over the years. They do a good job for a fair price and follow-up with good customer service. I recommend them for any of your HVAC needs.

I am going to recommend Rocky Mountain Air Systems to everyone I can if they have to purchase a new furnace. My 20 year old unit stopped working they were the only company that took time to explain my options and offered a very competitive price. Very happy with my decision to have them install a new unit.
