    I called for service on my boiler and the person that booked the appointment didn't ask about the age of the boiler so when the tech arrived he said my boiler was too old and the company doesn't work on boilers older than 30 years. I was charged the $98 for something that could have been told me on the phone and not had the tech come out for something they can't even touch. Of course, they said they can replace it and it would be around $30,000 simply absurd.

    They arrived within an hour of us calling which was fantastic! However, they don't like to repair units that are 20+ years old and told us that the control board *might* be the problem and wanted to quote a $12k - $18k system. (Funny thing is that both control boards are available locally at Lennox for less than $200 each). Well... we called someone else who is willing to help customers regain their heat the same day instead of pushing for only a sale of a new unit. The second company (who also arrived within an hour of us calling them) correctly diagnosed the issue as a simple safety switch problem due to the spring coming out. We're back up and running for MUCH LESS than $12k lol.

    Pretty funny too that I kept asking about safety or pressure switches when Horizon was here. They just dismissed my ideas. Well guess what, it was the inexpensive Safety Switch.

    Hoping Horizon does the right thing and issues a refund for the Service Call we paid...

    What an amazing company my air conditioner went out on the Wednesday at 2:30pm and the temperature was 96 degrees I immediately called Horizon Services my neighbor recommended them it was the Thursday before the Fourth of July weekend my air conditioner was 23 years old and needed to be replaced. I was desperate I had big plans for the weekend. They had a technician Dan came out that afternoon it just could not be fixed anymore not worth it. Carolyn the sale rep came out at 5:30pm and she wrote up my new air conditioner contract and technicians Dan, Mike and Zen did a amazing job they were here at 7:30am the next day on Friday and I had my new air conditioner in by that afternoon. They saved my weekend plans they were a godsend. Very professional and friendly service they went out of there way to get this done for me. I can not thank them enough. Just a awesome job.

    These folks were great. They got me scheduled very quickly, within a day, whereas other companies were saying it would take 2 weeks to come out. The tech was on time & very professional and easy to talk to. He performed diagnostic tests on my furnace blower and AC unit and identified the issues. I chose to do the repair work myself to save on cost, but the tech took the time to answer all my questions and give me tips on how to do the job. He was very informative and very helpful. This company was easy to work with, straight forward, and helpful.

    I have used Horizon before we got our Ac unit installed by them a couple years ago. I absolutely love this company, the techs and the very sweet ladies in the office are amazing. Our heater stopped working overnight and woke up to an icebox of a house with small children. They were able fit me in same day for maintenance. We had been told by a previous company that we had to replace the whole unit. Brad with Horizon was able to replace a piece and do maintenance that fixed the issue. He was very professional, knowledgeable and patient with my 3 month old puppy who kept getting in his way. We plan on replacing the unit eventually but its good to know that our family won't have to suffer the cold winter. We will probably using Horizon again.

    Scheduling an appointment with Horizon was easy. The technician showed up on time and was very professional. He quietly went about his work and when finished, he satisfactorily answered all of our questions. We will definitely use Horizon again!

    We have used Horizon for at least 4 maintenance/repair visit over the last 3-4 years. Both furnace and AC.
    In late February, our VERY old furnace went out (the night before a foot + of snow feel on Denver).

    #1: They were at our door within an hour of our call.
    We weren't surprise to learn that it was time to say goodbye to our 19 year old furnace.
    #2: They had their quote specialist at our door with in 30 minutes of making the decision to replace and she offered space heaters for us for the night.
    #3: Furnace replaced the next day with a great crew of guys---not only were they on time but they came 30 minutes EARLY in a foot of snow and helped shovel our sidewalks and driveway before they worked all day at our house. Now we are toasty warm!

    I see some on reviews mention they may cost a bit more--what is your time, peace of mind, EXCELLENT customer service, and warmth worth?

    Planning on using them for a BIG AC replacement later this spring.

    I'm only giving this place 2 stars because they were on time, friendly and professional..

    I used them because I was having issues with my a/c not turning on..(which turned out to be a connection issue between the thermostat and the A/C) they stated that I needed a whole new thermostat and maintenance on the a/c.. the cost is what I'm not understanding.. the maintenance fee I don't mind since it was around 200.. but my problem was the thermostat cost.. it was nearly 900 dollars to replace it and to redo the connection. I don't understand why it is nearly that much because the thermostat brand that they were going to use was the exact same brand of the thermostat I had just bought.. the guy claimed that the one I had just bought is a dud.. I even looked up the cost for the exact thermostat that they were going to use and it was only like a couple hundred but the rest of the cost in not sure I understand.

    It's interesting because I ended up going to someone else that my family knows and does a/c and furnace stuff and he fixed Noth the thermostat I had and redid the wiring for less then 200.. and he said that my thermostat was just fine and nothing was wrong with it.. so I actually feel like i was ripped off.. im actually glad I did use this company to replace the thermostat I had just bought etc.. plus the guy that came by pushed the membership more then anything else and seemed to only care about that.. there's no sense to me to use it when I'm just wasting my money on a membership when they won't be over often. It seemed like the guy didn't know what he was talking about. Everyone that I've talked to who has had to use a/c company for a thermostat issue have all said the same thing that they've never paid almost 900 dollars for that kind of an issue..

    It seemed like the guy was mainly wanting to upsell things more then needed and it felt like I was being taken advantage of. Not using this Company again

    This winter our heater stopped working in the middle of a deep freeze. Our repair guy couldn’t come until Monday so we called Horizon in a pinch. Such a waste of money. All the kid did was give a diagnosis but did nothing to repair and told us we needed a $500 evaluation to know for sure. He acted really nervous when giving his sales pitch to my husband and I. We were disappointed he didn’t get the heating back on with it being about 15 degrees outside. I now know why he was nervous.

    There was a simple override switch he could have pushed to get the heat on for the night. He knowingly looked at a toddler and pregnant woman and left us in a freezing house for the night.

    The next day our regular repair man had the heat going in 5 mins!

    Months later I now know what the Horizon guy did with his time in our utility room. He labeled every pipe and machine with advertising for Horizon. Hot pink labels with “call Horizon” were everywhere. I don’t regularly examine the utility room so it took a while to nice the blatant advertising job. The other day I found yet another sticker on the hot water heater.

    Don’t waste your money paying them to advertise in your own home, and getting them to just up-sale you a problem that doesn’t exist without fixing the one that does.

    I would upload photos but as so mad I cut up all the stickers and labels before posting a review
