They installed my AC for a reasonable price and the best warranty in the industry. Highly recommend their high-efficiency Amana unit for its lifetime warranty. They did make a minor mistake. When the building code inspector showed up, my furnace and AC were both running at the same time. I did appreciate the promptness with which Efficiency 1st resolved the issue. The company owner himself came back to make sure it was done right! As with any other company, you may have an issue, but a small local company is more likely to resolve it in a timely manner.

We called them for a new water heater at 7:30 am and told them they couldn't start until 10am, and our install was done by noon. Nick did a great job and the cost was as bid. Thanks guys!

Much thanks to Bill. His professionalism and keen eye resolved my cooling issue when multiple house calls by other HVAC companies could not. He went above and beyond, and was very fairly priced. He answered every question I had and I felt valued as a customer, not a dollar sign; will definitely utilize his company if needed in the future!

Efficiency 1st did an excellent job in installing the central A/C. There was a minor hiccup in that my amp for the internet was unplugged and not returned when the job was finished. I just got off the phone with them and they are refunding the service call fee from Comcast. In trying to contact Efficiency 1st, it seem s that I had the wrong number and was not able to get them on the phone, thus the review I first wrote was not that good and I admit now was unwarranted as I was contacted the owner immediately and he rectified the issue. Now that is what I call customer service. I do not blame the tech as I have been in his shoes and have forgotten simple things. Overall the installation was excellent, the A/C worked as advertised and the customer was superb. Definitely deserves a five star rating and I have already recommended Efficiency 1st to a co-worker looking for a new unit.

I had a non-functioning R-22 system I was told by another company needed a brand new compressor. I called Efficiency First for an estimate, and the owner Bill came out and provided an estimate that was substantially less expensive than the company who diagnosed the compressor as bad. As it was a relatively new compressor, Bill offered to do further diagnosis and confirmed the compressor was not faulty, and that it appeared the original company performed their diagnosis improperly and failed to detect the compressor was not turning on.

Instead of paying several thousand dollars for a new system, I was able to use this information to get the original company to complete the job properly at no additional expense, and the system is functioning perfectly now. Bill could have easily agreed the compressor was bad and sold me a system I didn't need, but had the integrity to do a simple check. I'll definitely contact Efficiency First if I need HVAC service or a new system in the future.

Company scheduled an appointment weeks out to come in and provide an estimate for installing A/C. The day of, the company wanted to show up early to meet another client. We explained to them we weren't available and needed to keep our existing appointment. Efficiency 1st was extremely rude and never showed up to their appointment.

Watch out when they're doing attic ac unit install. I was impressed that they put the unit inside leak container tub with sensor to cut off unit of there's water leak. However for some lame reason They put the condensate pump unit outside the tub, sitting right on the drywall of the ceiling. If this pump quits for any reason, drywall gets soaked plus the weight of the condensate pump unit really makes the drywall bow even more. We are now forced to replace the drywall and re-texture the ceiling just because of pump unit location wasn't properly protected from failure.

We had the owner Bill come out and provide an estimate on 4/20 and we decided to move forward with installation of a new A/C system. During the estimate I asked if I could pull the mechanical and electrical permits and run the electrical myself. Bill stated that he's all about saving the homeowner money and that it would be no issue. On 4/22 I sent them the permits and the receptionist replied back via Bill Frazier's email it "looks good".

On 4/29 when calling to ask a question about install, Candy the receptionist stated I would need to pay the $200 permit fee. I requested to talk with Bill, he put the blame on myself even though the quote clearly states that the homeowner will pull the permits. Recommend seeking services from a business that can remember conversations and can reference a quote when speaking with customers.
