NL Heating and Air

Don't expect to have air conditioning if you hire NL Heating and Air. This company was recommended by an HOA management company because it is a specialized AC unit. I scheduled way in advance via phone around the 1st of may for a may 16th service call. Technician reports that they changed the filter and it corrected the problem. Even though I knew there was no filter in the unit. AC worked for about 12 hours and then tenant reported it is not cooling the unit. I rescheduled for their next available slot June 12th even though a company should stand by their work and go right back out. The tenants contact information was provided in the same text message thread. The technician reports that the tenant did not answer the door even though they work from home and knew the appointment was scheduled. I asked about rescheduling NL advises their next available slot is July 18th. Great that your busy but busy being incompetent.

Exceeded my expectations during a visit to diagnose and repair my heat pump. Professional, communicative, and polite crew . I already have a follow-up visit scheduled, will be calling Nick for future needs, and will be recommending to neighbors and friends in need of HVAC services.

It is rare to find a Heating and Air contractor with such integrity and knowledge. Nick has worked in many businesses, but decided to go out on his own to do the work right at a fair price. Nick built a new water pan for my ancient evaporative cooler to give me a couple more years before we put in AC. His fabrication and installation was less expensive than I could buy just the item online and was custom made for my old unit. Then he and James installed a great new furnace and AC when the time was right. He gave me a great price on a more expensive furnace when the less expensive model could not be obtained. He does everything with a can-do attitude and clear explanations of the work. I would highly recommend him and would only use Nick and James for Heating and Air home services in the future. Nick was recommended to me by my neighbor. Nick and his crew were amazing! My house was remodeled with no return vents!! Nick was able to find where the returns "used to be". He reprogrammed my thermostat, the furnace, placed vents in the proper locations and got my house feeling warm. He was very reasonable and quite fast at completing this task. I will not call another heating company after this experience. I would highly recommend his services! Very honest company.

Nick is honest, transparent and fairly priced. I live in Union Station and am use to contractors in any field marking up pricing x2-x10 the real price simply because of our street address. Nick was thorough in his initial consultation, provided a fair estimate and although the final bill was more than initially quoted he was willing to be transparent and explain exactly why. He did a thorough job that completely justified the final cost. I would recommend him to anyone in LoDo. Nick will charge what the job costs, not what he thinks he can milk you out of based on your address.
