Air Quality Heating and A/C, Inc. did a fine job of installing an A/C system in my home. That involved putting new A/C coils in my furnace, adding a filter unit to the furnace, and putting an A/C unit in my backyard.
The owner Matt Faber came over at the time promised, listened to what I wanted, made suggestions and provided me with a hand-written estimate. I stressed that I wanted a quiet unit since it would be located near where I sit and work on my computer. I also wanted a furnace filter that was easier to service. Finally, I wanted the duct insulation that was currently there to be replaced with newer insulation that was easy to clean.
I found Matt very easy to work with. After looking over other bids, I accepted Matt’s proposal and signed the formal contract. His price was very reasonable. Matt’s crew (Joe & Ernesto) came as scheduled, completed the job in one day as promised, and cleaned up the work area before they left. Matt stopped by several times to check over the work and finally to make sure the system worked properly.
Matt came back later to replace the regular outlet at the back of the house with a GFIC outlet that met current electrical code. He wanted to make sure that there would be no problems with the building permit inspector. Free of charge, he also helped me figure out why one of my outlets inside the house wasn’t working. I thought it might be related to the A/C installation. Such was not the case. While examining the outlet circuitry, he noticed some old switches in the garage & suggested that I should change those. He was willing to do it right then, but I told him I’d take care of it.
The A/C installation passed inspection and I’m very happy with how the system works - a cool house at last.
I would gladly recommend Air Quality Heating & A/C for one’s furnace & A/C needs.
I give them 10 out of 10 on customer satisfaction.
I plan on using them again for my furnace & A/C needs.

I can't recommend Matt and the Air Quality team highly enough.
We moved into a house and wanted to add central A/C. Our realtor highly recommended Matt, so we called him out for a bid. He spent a lot of time with us going through the various options (e.g., adding just A/C; adding a new furnace, too; considering just a split system or an additional split system for just upstairs; systems with multiple zones; and various different models and prices), and gave his recommendation when asked after understanding our preferences and concerns. I never felt as if he were upselling or trying to do anything other than give us a wide variety of options.
Matt and team handled all the rebates, testing, permits, drywall and painting touch-ups, programming the thermostat, etc., which was great. He and his team were friendly, on time, worked hard, and were careful and respectful of our home. Matt's also very responsive via email.
We had some hot and cold rooms in our house and Matt quickly sent out Manuel and Ernesto who spent a few hours adjusting and installing dampers, and now the rooms are all nice and warm and the system runs very quietly -- you can't even tell when it's running in all but the room that's directly beneath the attic furnace.
It will likely be a long time before we need more HVAC work, but when we do, we'll call Air Quality.

Without hesitation, I can recommend Matt and Air Quality Heating and AC.
Matt was recommended to me by a neighbor when my 30 year old 5 ton furnace broke down. He responded promptly (several others I contacted never responded). Matt was the only one of the three who came and made bids who really seemed to know what he was talking about and could clearly explain the issues.
The heat exchanger was badly cracked so repair was not an option. Matt gave me a couple of options. He recommended replacing the complete system with a 3 ton Carrier furnace (Furnace, AC, 5-zone control with new dampers) – after all the system was 30 years old – but at my request he also quoted a partial replacement. He explained that with the latest zoning technology, a smaller furnace was plenty for my home – neither of the other two installers picked up on this; they wanted to put in more expensive 5 ton equipment.
The clincher was speaking to a second neighbor who had a very similar complete system to the one Matt proposed – he was very happy with it. So I went with the complete system. An added bonus was getting a Carrier rebate AND a $2k Bayren rebate for which Matt did all the paperwork and organized all the necessary inspections etc.
Matt’s installers did a great job. As well as installing the furnace and AC, they put in new dampers and upgraded all the ductwork so it would pass the Bayren inspection (for the rebate, but also resulting in a more economic system). Matt was absolutely right about the lower capacity system being enough – even in the recent cold snap, the house was toasty warm and since the furnace rarely needs to go full power, it’s very quiet also.

Excellent service. I had this company install a Carrier Infinity furnace and AC unit because I could not stand the noise from my old furnace. The Carrier Infinity is amazingly quiet. You won't regret the extra money it costs. And speaking of costs, Air Quality was about 10% less than their competitors. Highly recommended.

We've had Air Quality and Heat install our Carrier system a couple years ago and they have been doing yearly maintenance on it for us. They were prompt and on time for each appointment. Not only that, but they have the records of when our maintenance is due and will provide courtesy call to remind us that it's time to maintain our system. So far, the system is operating as advertised. The technicians also provide great service/assistance to our questions, especially with the safety protection feature of our compressor, etc. Thanks!

I had a guy come out from my former furnace company for my annual dusting and cleaning. He poked around a bit and said I needed a new furnace. When I asked why, he gave me three reasons, none of which rang true.
I called Air Quality for a second opinion. I didn't tell them anything about the first guy, just to come out for an annual check. While their guy was there, I asked questions about the things the first guy showed me. I found out that he had made two misleading statements and had told me one outright lie. Needless to say, I won't be calling that company again.
Not only did the Air Quality guy do a more thorough check-up than my former company, he discovered that my air conditioner's freon (or whatever they use these days) was a bit low and topped it off for me.
In summary, Air Quality is polite, pleasant, competent, and honest. They aren't the cheapest around, but I got more than I paid for.
