Overall, excellent company. Would highly recommend to others looking for HVAC installation. I will probably be asking them to do my mini split installation.
We went with them because they did an excellent installation job on a new HVAC system at my sister's place. We got Trane XL181 2 stage and S9V for the 2 stage furnace. Not top of the line for Trane. All you need is some middle of the line product and you're good. Their pricing is very competitive and negotiable. Our current hvac system was on its' last legs and it was about 15 years old. You will have to do your own research and everyone's budget is different but I felt like Trane was a good combination between competitive pricing, longevity of the unit, and efficiency of the unit. I would not recommend Lennox because there are a lot of internal electronic parts and as you know, electronic parts break down easily. Also, from what I found, not many companies are trained to repair Lennox HVAC in our area. Another reason why we went with Trane. This will vary from your own experience but our electricity bill went down by about $100-150 per month after installation and that was with constant use during the recent fires.
The company did a good job in laying out large towels/cloths for the entire work area and paths leading up to it. I think it could have been better, but it was fine. They thoroughly cleaned up after the work was done. We were lucky that it only took 1 full day to install everything and a few months later, they mail you a packet and the city inspector comes to sign it off.
The most important thing is how the company installs the unit. You can pay somebody a lot of money but if they don't install it right, it will cost you in the long run in terms of utility bills. This company re-taped all the ducts at their junction points and used extra UV protective tape around the cables leading from the compressor into the house. When they did the leak test, we got numbers in the range of 7-12. The allowable leak is 30. Some companies will be okay with any number less than 30 but this company went out of their way to bring the leak value down. When we got inspected, our inspector was impressed with the value. It just means that every dollar spent is practically heating or cooling down the house, not the attic. The inspector even asked for the company name.
I found Pacific through yelp. They have great ratings so I tried them out. My house heater broke and it was freezing in the house. I tried calling other HVAC companies but everyone was busy. When I called Pacific, the lady on the other line was courteous, and immediately set me up with an appointment. The tech came on time, was respectful of my house rules, i.e. he wore booties so as to not dirty my floors, he wore a mask when he saw me wearing a mask, (I can tell he was sensitive to your preference in cults regarding masking), he was professional diagnosed the problem, and told he what was going on and what needed to be done. No upsell, no bs. He didnt try to sell me a new HVAC system. I was expecting the worst but was mildly surprised how honest he was. He ordered the part and quoted me a reasonable amount. He told me he will expedite and sure enough he got my heater working when he went back 3 days later as soon as he got the part. Overall, I am extremely pleased.
We were very pleased with our interactions with Pacific Heat & Air, Inc. From the initial bid to the full replacement of our HVAC system. Ken, Paul and the entire crew (Pedro, Salim & Charles) were polite, efficient and professional. The team completed the work in one day! We would highly recommend them.
I was very happy with my recent experience with Pacific Heat and Air. I had issues with my heating unit which were fixed quickly (within a day of the call). Ken was very honest and gave us a great price in comparison to other companies. Overall I would definitely recommend Pacific Heat and Air as they were affordable, quick, and professional.
I've had excellent service from this company. I've had a couple of heat and air units installed. Paul is very honest and professional. I had been taken to the bank by another company and called Paul. I've referred this company to my family and friends and have been thanked for it! Please don't waste your time looking around. This is the place to trust with your needs.
Got my a/c and furnace replaced. Great quality work. Very easy and friendly to work with. Their explanations of the system and what they were working on were very much appreciative. I got 6 different quotes and Pacific heating and air was the best for what you get. When receiving a quote, there was no pressure at all. The owner gave me information, options and a price. The thermostat ended up being defective (not the fault of Pacific heat and air) and they came out quickly on the weekend to fix the problem. Given a chance, I would use Pacific heat and air again and would highly, highly recommend them.
So I just got a phone call and 3 hrs. before they were supposed to be at my office they cancel because one of their employees did not show up. which I totally understand. but when I asked if they were going to reschedule she just said no. completely unprofessional and I would never recommend them to anyone. if I could give zero stars I would.
I thought my unit was done for. Heater cycling on and off and not heating.Ken and Paul sent out a technician and after a few tests it was just a small electrical part that failed and the technician replaced it on the spot. Not a big dollar repair I was expecting. Well done Pacific heat and air. We will continue to use them in the future. The tech showed me everything he was doing while testing the unit.
Ken was very knowledgeable about our Trane hvac system. The men he sent out were very professional and fixed our heater that day. Never knew they were there. Great service and nice people. Pacific Heat & Air will be our go to company!

Used Pacific to do tune-ups on the HVAC systems @ both my personal home & my rental house. Great service at both places. Plan to use them again.
