Please don't do business with this company Joe is a racist and extremely rude. He came to install our heating system, we noticed a weird sound in the bathroom sink after the system was installed, another HVAC company told me the trap was missing from the heating system and it was connected to the drains. Due to the trap not put in correctly carbon monoxide and other chemical from the drains were being back up in our home that was the fumes we were smelling. How can you be so negligent and miss putting in a trap if you are an experienced HVAC company. They work with Real property management we feel as if this was done intentionally to harm our family. This company cannot be trusted with big jobs. Please get a second opinion if this company has done repairs for your home. call pennies Air conditioning and heating

Could not be happier with my service from Airconn, lowest prices combined with the best customer service from a local family business, I strongly recommend anyone in the service vicinity of Airconn to always choose them! In my specific case it required several house visits, each time being a near instant response time, and completely working around my availability (and at no extra cost!). My issue also had an insurance element to it, and Airconn went above and beyond to work with my insurance company as well to get everything sorted out. 10 out of 10.

Joe came all the way out to Boron to install a new HVAC system for me. It's always a rough time finding contractors who will work out here. This happens a lot in remote areas. Most contractors want a trip surcharge or other fee. Joe charged no extra fees, did a fantastic job, and price was fair. He explained everything clearly, which is always appreciated.

Thank you Airconn heating &Air. Thank you Joe for installing our new A/C System. Great prices and great attention to detail. Joe went above and beyond to make sure our system install was done properly. He made sure all our indoor a/c vents were adjusted to maximize room air flow. I would definitely recommend Airconn heating & Air.

Was conned out of about $1,000 from Airconn. His bid (Joe gave me the quote) and I fell for it - was approximately $1,000 more than what it should have been should I have done my homework and gotten bids. My property management company “Real Property Management” should be ashamed to be working with them. They may know how to do the work, but with 30+ years experience, they also figured out how to rip you off (almost without you knowing)
RPM takes a “markup” on the “big expensive” jobs, so it’s not in their interest to have you “the home owner” get 2nd or 3rd bids— means less money for them.
Also, Airconn and RPM would not give me a itemized bill showing the breakdown of what I paid for the condenser, what I paid him (Joe) for labor, disposal of old unit, recharge Freon, etc...

How did I figure out I got robbed (legally)? You might be asking, I reverse engineered the situation.
After the product was (condenser unit) installed. I looked up what the cost of the unit is. I found out I could get the same unit for $1,400 with free shipping. I called the company who sells that item. (The same exact model). The sales person who tried to sell the unit told me “oh your HVAC guy is going to hate you for buying this unit because he’s not going to be making much money on it. He also told me it’s one of the easiest units to install (about 30 mins tops) and he mentioned that getting R-22 is going to be hard because Jan. 2020 laws make “R-22” refridgant illegal due to environmental concerns.
I paid $3,150 to have the condenser unit replaced. It doesn’t take a genius to see how he could dare to charge that amount when the unit he replaced was $1,400. Joe was not able to account for the $1,750 extra that I paid.
Also, RPM has not disclosed to me what the “markup” amount is. That makes everything crooked. Neither companies are professional.
Time for me to look for a new property management company too.

wow 8 months later and I get a response. Hey Joe,

I never renegotiated the price with you ever. I merely stated I realized I was ripped off from you (with my honest review) because I didn’t get 3 quotes before having the work done. Because you wouldn’t have gotten the work because you would have been too high. Unfortunately, I paid with cash, so I knew the money I paid was gone as there would be no way to renegotiate.
And also, btw, it was the beginning of summer and it was hot, therefore I approved your outlandishly high bid (because I didn’t know any better then and now I do) because I didn’t want my tenants to suffer. I basically approved your bid within 24 hours of Real Property Management (RPM) notifying me and then you did the work the very next day. I have no idea what you mean by three weeks passing by before I had you do the A/C work? I’m confused by that statement.
The last thing that still kind of bothers me is. You are blaming RPM for the cost of the work that I have to pay when you the contractor is the one who comes up with a number (cost for the job, usually in the thousands).
It’s like you quote me $80 for a Costco pizza (which I find out after the fact I could have bought for $10) and then you blame RPM for billing me $90 for it. No, the contractor who is coming up with an insanely high bid is to blame and shameful. I got ripped off and I just don’t want it to happen to anyone else. Be careful people, my advise is to always get three bids, even in the summer time; that was my mistake. I accept it.
