These guys are awesome! I had an issue with my a/c right as the temp in northern CA spikes of course! I knew they'd be busy but they got to me within a couple days and had my system fixed that same day. Thanks for the great service

Last week, in the midst of this brutal, seemingly endless heat wave we are experiencing, the air conditioning went out in our downtown Chico business (Tomfoolery) and our home. We were referred to Grimes Heating and Air and they were awesome! Doug from Grimes was friendly & professional & repaired both AC systems on the same day. A big thanks to Doug. We are no longer melting 👍🏻

I had previously gone through my warranty company and they sent out a different local company who has been out at least a dozen times to fix my heat. They were never able to fix it and told me they needed to order some new parts from the manufacturer that would cost me a few thousand dollars.
I tried Grimes before I did that because they were recommended to me and I'm so glad I did. Joseph was on time, texted on his way and fixed the heater in a short time. This saved me thousands!

Grimes was the first company to let us know that since our heater was working fine on our split heat/AC unit, that they would give a quote for replacing both or just the failed A/C unit.

We signed with them to install the new A/C unit and this being July in Oroville knew that it would be a few weeks. To my surprise and delight I received a call on July 5th and was told they would be able to get it installed at 7am on July 8th!

This being the A/C unit in my 85 year old mom's house there was an urgency to get it installed as soon as possible and Grimes was aware of that and made it happen.

The install team was professional and pleasant. They were here at 7:10 and finished up around noon.

Outstanding service. Very friendly and professional. Installed a new heat pump, air conditioning unit and whole house fan. Never acted like a salesperson, didn’t recommend more than we needed or some grossly overpriced solar system we didn’t want. Gave us a super efficient, quiet system that not only does an amazing job, but has dramatically reduced our energy bills. Would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. Liked them so much I had them replace the heaters and thermostats in our units. Scott is very responsive, very professional and sticks with the job until you’re completely satisfied. A+!

I have used Grimes a couple times through our home owning journey. We bought a home with an old unit that didn’t work well from day one. They always show up on time and are professional.
This time Brian came out to give us a quote on fixing or replacing. He was really thorough in explaining the issues to me and dumbing it down in terms I could understand. He explained that the issue we have isn’t worth simply repairing because it would cost as much as a new unit and we would still have the underlying issues that created this. So we scheduled for a new unit put in.
Only a week later, Mike and Lorenzo did an amazing job. They were on time, polite and professional. We have 3 dogs and they were friendly to our dogs when our dogs booked it out the door before I could grab them.

Highly recommend and will be a loyal customer for life.

Doug Chandler was working on the business next door and noticed something with our AC. He came over and helped us out and fixed the problem FREE of charge. He was very knowledgeable and just wanted to help us out! Very kind.

We had an Amazing experience with Grimes Heating and Air. I called them to come and clean our very OLD unit. Scott came out, explained what he was doing and was very friendly throughout the process. We ended up getting a whole new system put in. Scott and his team came out, on time everytime and worked really well around my husband and my work schedules. They moved pretty much all of our equipment around and even put in a new vent for us. They always cleaned up after themselves and worked quickly to get our project done. I knew I had a difficult problem with my HVAC to solve, I already had another company come out and look at it to no avail. I called up Grimes and said send me your best technician. They sent Doug out, and I couldn't be any happier. He was very experienced & professional. My unit is older Doug knew the intracacies that needed to be addressed with this older set up. Doug got the job fixed & my AC is running cold!
