Belle Air Services

Super professional company from start to finish. They didn't ask me to write this review, but I volunteered because I really appreciated how easy they made the whole process of replacing my HVAC system with an energy-efficient unit.

I bid out with 3 licensed and bonded HVAC companies, and I'm very glad that I chose Belle Air. They helped me get a $3,000 LADWP rebate, and they were actually the most cost effective option out of the 3 quotes.

But more importantly, they were very professional at every turn:

1. Before I made the purchase: they took time to inspect the house for its airflow, venting, insulation, etc. to determine what type of CFM was needed and what HVAC units would be appropriate. They didn't upsell, but rather listened to my concerns about my roof and house's age - accounting for the unit's weight, roof access, the internal venting in my house, etc. before clearly explaining to me the options for different units. They thought clearly through these and answered all of my questions patiently and consistently. The bid was detailed and they went through it on the phone with me to make sure the details were correct. Follow-up was courteous and not pushy. Other companies rushed to conclusions and did not have clear answers to my questions.

2. During the install process: putting extra tarps around the ladder to not damage my precious stone flooring, wearing shoe-booties around the house, letting me know what they needed to do doing during the install, etc. The crew was very nice.

Note: LADWP had good things to say about Belle Air Services, as did several inspectors (who commented about the good quality install).

3. Communicating well at every point: Liz and others were very pleasant and easy to get a hold of at any time; and I appreciated the text message updates, live tracking of where the team's truck was on appointment days (even with a picture of which technician would arrive, for safety and convenience), email reminders of appointments, etc. The experience felt well-coordinated.

4. After the install: they stayed to make sure it worked to my satisfaction (checking all the vents, airflow readings, etc.) and followed through with coordinating all the inspections and appointments for the LADWP rebate.

Note: as I learned from the LADWP directly, only the participant member providers such as Belle Air would be eligible to help me get the $3,000 rebate. Other companies I checked were not eligible (despite them saying they could help).

Zach, Robert, Liz, etc. and the whole team were great - they coordinated all the appointments, inspections, permitting, install, and follow through to make the process very smooth. Very glad I chose them and I'd happily recommend them.

Great installation of Daikin Mini Splits in 3 rooms. Great communication and they were happy to do the extra work to install them the way I wanted.

This review is long overdue, but it’s because I kept looking for “the catch” with this company. In short, there isn’t one. They are honest, prompt, professional, easy to work with, responsive and incredibly trustworthy.
During a recent (and terribly muggy) LA heat wave when every HVAC company was slammed. We needed three zones put in our home. We called all of the big commercial companies and three submitted bids. All of them were clearly price gouging. I saw an advert (no clue where) for Belle Air and they arrived, spent a solid hour and a half walking the property, inspecting every inch of the current systems and duct work. The rep (Nick) was incredibly knowledgeable and very professional. He explained everything that they recommended to be done, which was about 30% more then the other companies. I’d found the “catch”, right? Wrong. They estimated the job would take 7 days….so, I was ready for the sticker shock and, yes, the catch. I was wrong again. They were at least 20% lower than the others.
The job started two days later, in 106 degree weather, and not once was there a complaint. The supervisors were in location daily. At the beginning and end of each day, they would ask us if we had any questions and if there were “any areas they could improve our experience.” What?! Who taught them manners, because they taught them well! One day my husband was driving away as the supervisor (Derek) was pulling up. He stopped my husband on the street just to introduce himself and thank him for allowing Belle Air to service our home. I was floored.

They completed the job flawlessly. A week later we needed them at a different property. Another emergency. Once again, they came through, quickly and painlessly. In fact, we trusted them on the first job so much that we handed them the key and let them have the house to work while we were away.
Liz, Robert, Nick, Aaron, Derek and the entire “on the ground” crew are second to none. I can’t wait until someone asks me if i know of a good HVAC company is.
This company is top notch. I mean, it’s female owned. If you want something done right, professional and flawlessly, have a lady do it! Great job to the owner Liz.

Belle Air was an incredibly professional HVAC service of great quality and value. We were in need of a whole new HVAC system and they walked us through various packages and prices that were competitively priced, and made our decision making process easy. The work itself was done in a day and has completely transformed our at home experience with pin pointed heat and AC from the Daikin system. Belle Air Services installed a new 4 ton ac on the roof of our commercial building. From first meeting to installation took only three business days! They are very professional, experienced, honest, and have reasonable pricing. We are extremely pleased with their service and will definitely be using them for all of our properties in the future. I don’t write many reviews but had to share this excellent experience. We woke up to an air conditioning unit that was no longer pushing cold air. We called the original installer but they couldn’t come to service for a few days because of high temps across LA. We called Belle Air based on reviews and were amazed at the service. Great communication, arrived just a few hours later, checked the system from top to bottom. Tony wore a mask the entire time and was very careful inside the house. He fixed the problem, topped off the coolant and charged a very reasonable price. Couldn’t be happier and will definitely be using them in the future. A+

In May 2021 we hired Belle Air to replace our home rooftop HVAC package unit (heating and cooling, 5-ton). Sales rep Kevin was knowledgeable and professional. He quoted a basic system, and an upgraded system at our request. The owner Robert reviewed the project beforehand, and instructed the crew on the day of installation. Belle Air smoothly coordinated with subcontractors for: delivery of the unit from the manufacturer, hoisting and removal by crane, and safe removal of old insulation. Our project required some custom sheet metal, working in a tight crawl space, and significant electrical work. All of these were handled very effectively by Belle Air's hardworking installation crew. The office staff stayed in close contact throughout the process and provided excellent communication by phone, email and automated text messages. The new HVAC system works great, and we love the Nest thermostat which can be controlled on a phone. Thank you Robert and company!
