Absolutely terrible. I hired Kirk in late 2020 to install a full Heat and AC unit. Come to find out a year later that nothing was installed correctly and we are having to pay another company to fully re install everything. I had three separate other HVAC companies come give an opionion and none of them could believe how poorly things were installed. Basically, I will have paid twice for the same job. Do not use this company at all.
Our system went down. Our long-term provider was 14 days out on service calls. A friend recommended Kirk Rawls of Veteran Air. He came out same day. The compressor on our old system shorted out. Kirk did not charge me for the diagnostics. The replacement unit was installed two business days later. Kirk followed through as promised each step of the way. He showed up when promised and checked in that evening to see if I had any issues or questions. The pricing was very reasonable. His work was well done and I am thankful for his professionalism.
Our air conditioner broke on one of the hottest evenings of the summer/fall 9/30/20. I called Kirk Rawls at Veteran Air '99 the next morning. He quickly returned my call, stopped by and our air conditioner was repaired and working by noon. I am so happy. He is knowledgeable, honest and affordable. I HIGHLY recommend him.
Due to the huge volume of fake five star review, the highest I ever rate for the best services rendered is 4 stars.
It is summer time, temperatures are high, and my 30 years old system is shot. I know it will cost a lot, so I begin calling the many who advertise on Craigslist. My situation is unusual, being I hope to use a condensing unit I purchased on Craigslist used. Of the twenty or so contractors I call, I hosted 3 who gave me a quote. Kirk gave me his first and last price, without the need to negotiate like I was shopping in an Arabian bazaar. He was nearly a thousand less than his nearest competitor, another vendor who quoted high, then lowered his price, still $800 more than Kirk.
As far as quality, Kirk insulated ever inch of pipe, fastened every duct, his attention to detail exceeded even my own. I tipped him $200, and I still feel as if I shorted him. Probably no better indicator of Kirk’s experience and qualifications is his contractor’s license number, issued many years prior, beginning with the number “7”. He’s a straight shooter, I’d use him again in a second.
I am SO impressed with this company, Ryan came to our home and was thorough, explained things well, and did not "upsell". I fully trust him, SO grateful my neighbors referred me to Veteran Air!

Appt. on holiday was great. Tech was thorough, but parts were very expensive. 2 motor start devices.

These guys are a joke. I would avoid them.
