I recently had the pleasure of working with Starlight HVAC to install a new air conditioning and heating system for my home in Mission Viejo, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled at their craft. They were patient and answered all my questions with ease.
The installation process was seamless thanks to the expertise of the technicians, who took the time to carefully assess my home's needs and recommend the best system for my specific requirements. They were meticulous in their work, ensuring that everything was installed to the highest standards and that every detail was attended to.
Throughout the process, the team was also incredibly friendly and communicative, answering all of my questions and keeping me informed about what was happening every step of the way. I've used Starlight HVAC for my HVAC system replacement. They came same day and gave me a very good deal on a new HVAC system. Office staff called me right a way and scheduled an installation day. I can tell with confidence that the system was installed in very professional way because I have an engineering degree. Big thank you to technicians Vitalii and Sebastian. They are extremely organized and professional HVAC techs I've ever met.

I was referred to Starlight by my neighbor. Tech they sent out Vitalii was awesome, clearly knowledgeable guy. My heater is old and he explained that repairs wold be pricey plus who knows how much longer my 30+ yo unit would last. I ended up replacing my whole heating and ac system. Installation took a day, they got rid of the old system and were very neat with the installation. I will be definitely recommending them to my other neighbors and friends.

Great service as well as communication! Was flexible with my crazy work schedule and able to accommodate me for needed AC repairs. I was happily surprised that their tech was right on time too! Highly recommend and have already had other friends and family in the OC area utilize their services.

Terrible company. They were assigned by my home warranty to do an AC repair. 5 months passed and they never ordered parts. When followed up again and again they submitted another invoice 2.5 times the original one! Never came by. Never done any work. Just wasted time and gouged prices. Don't trust them.

Thanks the Starlight HVAC. Technician came to our rescue when our Heater decided to quit working. We were concerned about using home warranty, since it is our first incident as new home owners but this company made it nice and easy. Our Heater went out during the weekend and we were contacted by Starlight HVAC within 24 hours. I was floored! I was asked over the phone if someone could come out same day (Monday) in the afternoon and I jumped at the opportunity for the appointment. Vitalii called to let me know he was coming over and was here within the time frame given, but the earlier part of it (which I was grateful for). He was thorough and answered all of my questions in a professional, but easy to understand way. I truly appreciated him taking the time to explain the problem and then how he was going to fix it. As our first home warranty experience, I have to say that I hope all go as smoothly and quickly as this one went. We are very happy with the services Vitalii provided and cross our fingers to be assigned to this company again if we ever have any other issues.

I’m not sure if it’s incompetence or that they don’t want to get their hands dirty and perform a job, but the technician Vitalii who came to my house gave an inaccurate diagnosis of my A/C problem. He stated because my A/C unit doesn’t have a separate shut off fuse box it caused my capacitor to burn out and any other damage which he didn’t check. The truth of the matter is, my electrical control panel is on the side of my house directly in line of sight with my A/C unit with a clear label on the breaker switch for the A/C unit. By this faulty assessment the company sent to American Home Shield home warranty, they said they won’t cover the repairs. I am beyond upset at the dishonesty and incompetence of this company that I hope no one uses them again. I will make further complaints to other entities regarding Starlight and American Home Shield. I strongly recommend that you do not do business with either.

Please stay away from this company. Tech Sebastian came due to my thermostat not working. He came, left and my problem still was there. He even left my thermostat on the floor and left wires sticking out, very dangerous for my kids. I called to explain so they could come back and fix it and Customer Rep hang the phone in the middle of our conversation. Very bad company. Very unprofessional!!! Stay away.

I was referred to Starlight through my home warranty company. They came out and they were quick to identify “the problem” and inform me that the cost of repair would likely be higher than the cost of replacement. When the warranty company turned down the replacement due to the repair they recommended only have a price point below $100 they then decided that they couldn’t help and claimed they were unable to make the repair or provide any referrals yo companies that could make the repair. It seems like they decided if the repair wasn’t going to multiple thousands of dollars of work it wasn’t worth their time anymore. Extremely disappointed in their professionalism. Would never recommend using them.

Very happy with the results of the inspection of our HVAC unit by Starlight. There we gaps in our A/C unit which the tech sealed up and we noticed a difference in the output of the unit right away. He gave us some tips on using our A/C which we appreciated. Overall, a good experience.
