TFF HVAC

I have been with TFF for years for all my homes HVAC needs. They just replaced a furnace unit for my property last week. Their staffs are ON TIME, very professional, detail and clean job done in couple of hours. I expected longer time than that. Tony, the boss, is one of the top professional in this field. He is very customer oriented and willing to work with you meeting your budget. His team is the best. I am a real estate profession. My client had replacement of duct system last year. They were extremely happy with their work. Not only they are the best in quality work, but they are, I believe, the one most affordable contractor for your home HVAC needs.

TFF HVAC installed our air conditioner back in 2015 and did an excellent job. Everything went smoothly and the cost was very fair. Recently, my mother-in-law’s furnace died and TTF HVAC was our first choice to call. They responded promptly and set her up with a new high efficiency furnace at a very fair price. Tony and Heidi run an excellent business with a great team. Their work is of excellent quality, their prices are fair, and they are genuinely good people. My highest recommendation.

We would highly recommend TFF HVAC. Tony gave us a detailed estimate that was competitive and answered all our questions thoroughly. Tony and his team were professional and friendly. They arrived promptly and showed respect for our home when replacing the duct work, heating and AC. Our attic had some very cramped spaces they needed to access to replace duct work and they tackled the challenge with a great attitude. It was obvious they all take pride in their work. The entire job was completed in two days and other than a little dust it was completely painless. We are very happy we chose TFF HVAC.

I called Tony to replace my ancient furnace and install a new air conditioner in Sept. 2011. Just recently, a week ago, I called him for an emergency situation which required a new duct system for my dryer. He, his team and Heidi are all the greatest! They are punctual, responsive, careful not to dirty your home, tidy about clean up. They take pride in doing the job right and giving the customer all the information needed so we can make the right decision. The furnace and air conditioner function perfectly. The cost for the units as well as labor was very fair and reasonable. Tony won't sell you something you don't need. I feel he treats his customers like he would a family member. He cares about quality and customer service. I not only recommend him to everyone but would call him again for all my HVAC needs.

After receiving a referral from a friend, we had TFF install a completely new HVAC system 5 years ago. We’re talking new furnace, AC and ducting. They were by far the most competitive quote. They did an outstanding job! But where they really excel, is taking care of their customers. Over the past 5 years, we’ve had two minor issues with our AC due to normal wear and tear. TFF made time for us immediately during what has to be, a busy time of year. Not only did they put us on the schedule ASAP, they came out to diagnose and fix the problem, free of charge. Who does that?! We have had a lot of work done on our house in the last five years, and TFF’s workmanship and customer service has outdone all of the other companies we’ve worked with. If you need anything HVAC, don’t hesitate to go with TFF.

Tony installed our new AC system one year ago and we were very pleased with it. His suggestion was professional and exactly met our needs. This year we got a new Nest thermostat and thinking to upgrade the previous one. We tried to do it ourselves but we messed up with the wires and the AC stopped working again. The first thing that I did was contact TFF and see if they can help fixing it as soon as possible because the whether is getting hot. Tony replied to me the same day and came to fix it the next day. It was really quick and FREE of charge! He even helped to install the Nest for us! We couldn't be more grateful. Now the AC is working again. We highly recommend TFF to anyone who is considering AC work to be done fast and excellent.

The furnace originally installed in my 40 year old home stopped all heating. I gave Tony of TFF HVAC a call after looking for encouraging reviews, and he came out and determined the furnace had a bad gas valve--a part that was no longer made (hardly a surprise for a 40 year Carrier furnace that had been working smoothly and reliably up until the end). After Tony's visit, Heidi e-mailed me a very reasonable estimate for a replacement furnace.

I decided this would be a sensible time to also get the AC I knew I needed. I'm particular about some things, through experiencing the home AC systems of a few other people I had a good feeling for what I DIDN'T want. Both Tony and Heidi deeply understand the intricacies of the HVAC world and between them they came up with a perfect Carrier heat pump that not only was something I never would have thought of, it answered every concern I had for an AC system. Tony suggested a different furnace that would ensure everything would operate together smoothly, and that also made sense to me. That meant a fresh estimate, but it was one that made me very happy.

During installation a serious problem arose because preinstalled connections for AC, that went in when the home was built 40 years ago, had broken down over time and were no longer usable. Nevertheless, Angel, Tony's foreman and right-hand man, along with Israel and David, the other TFF crew members working here, came up with a very impressive fresh routing of all necessary lines between the heat pump and the furnace. While not being able to use the preinstalled air conditioner lines increased the installation work significantly--and the installation took a few hours longer than originally thought--the final installation cost was not raised from the very reasonable estimate. The completed system is tremendous, and easily one of the best purchasing decisions I've ever made. I'm not kidding, I could hardly be happier with all aspects of the installation.

Tony and Heidi both know their stuff, and both are very easy to communicate with. They listen, and if they make a suggestion it can be trusted. I cannot leave out Angel, Israel, and David--their craftsmanship, not to mention their respect for my home, and their real knowledge and innovation are absolutely first class.

It's probably worth mentioning that the arrangements for installation were finalized about a week before shelter-in-place set in. TFF HVAC is an essential service, so even though the agreed on installation date was during shelter-in-place, they were able to complete the installation at the desired time. When Tony, Angel, Israel, and David arrived, they were masked, gloved, and in compliance with shelter-in-place guidelines--just as Heidi earlier assured me they would be. It is impossible for me to give enough credit to every aspect of TFF HVAC's thoughtful and beyond skillful approach. I would never recommend anyone else for ANY aspect of HVAC work.

I had a great experience with TFF. Had a nearly 30 year old furnace that had been exhibiting erratic performance over the past few years, and it decided to stop working (again) just as fall turned fully to winter in the Bay Area in November ('19). Tony and team spent hours in two visits investigating its issues and replacing parts that looked like plausible root causes, but after a brief revival its issues turned out to be mysterious and ultimately fatal. The TFF team replaced the whole thing (an attic install, which I had heard can be complicated and expensive) in just a couple hours, at a very competitive all-in price, and even deducted the cost of the previous unsuccessful visits from the total bill for the replacement. So we're warm and cozy again, and I couldn't recommend TFF more highly for professional, polite, honest, and forthright support.

My 25 year old furnace broke down and I needed an urgent replacement. I contacted several companies, Tony quickly got back to me with a quote, which was more competetive than the other quotes I received. The crew came in the next day and performed the work. Few days later, the city inspector came by and called out a few mechanical issues that were related to how my setup was done 25 years ago. Eric and Israel came back the next day and fixed them with no additional charge. Heidi has been very responsive over phone/email to get things scheduled and arranged. I much prefer a small family company like this, where I can reach someone when I need right away, rather than holding on the phone for a customer service representitive with other bigger companies. I am so glad to have chosen TFF.

TFF did a complete system install for me a few years ago which went flawlessly. They did great work and finished on time.

Now, a few years later, yesterday it stopped blowing cold. I called them, peak season, and he said he would come out to look at it the next day. Tony text me prior to arrival, came out and fixed it on the spot. He replaced the broken part free of charge. I was so impressed!
