Malibu Heating and Air conditioning provided a detailed fair quote, the most detailed one I received. They installed top grade Mitsubhishi HVAC heat pump. The installers were professional and did an outstanding job going above and beyond expectations. We are extremely happy with the installation, quality, and professionalism of the entire purchase life cycle. I am going to reccommend Malibu to everyone in the building who needs their aging HVAC replaced.

Living in a home with cement walls calls for some good heating and air conditioning needs! Malibu Heating & Air Conditioning was up for the challenge when servicing our units. They were very knowledgeable and were able to get my current units running like new again. Rick was very quick in responding to my call and the service pricing was very reasonable. I used Malibu Heating & Air Conditioning a few years back to add air conditioning to my existing heater. The service we received from this company was outstanding. They were knowledgeable, did a clean install and did not leave until we were comfortable using our new equipment. This past month I decided it was time to change out our leaking gutters. We got an estimate on Friday and they were here to start the install the following Monday. The gutters look great and there is no mess as they took the old gutters with them! I would definitely recommend Malibu for all heating, air, and sheet meal needs. Great work Rick and Malibu employees.

We needed an air conditioner installed that was comparable to our current heater before bringing our baby home to a hot house. Rick came out, gave us an estimate and did the install within two weeks. We needed a well overdue upgrade to our HVAC system and are very pleased with the work and customer service provided by Malibu Heating & Air. They were very quick to respond to our quote request and extremely active in communicating and creating a project plan within our budget. They took the time to come by several times to give us their professional advice while still making sure our requests were met. They also were able to complete the project much sooner than originally anticipated - just in time for the hot summer months!

Rick and the Malibu Crew installed a new central AC system for my house. I got several bids for the project. However, Rick took the time to explain the design, options, recommendations, and pros/cons of different systems. I called Rick multiple times during the bid process to ask questions and he always either answered the phone or called me back ASAP.
After reviewing all proposals, I selected Rick and Malibu Heating AC. His price was extremely competitive, but most importantly I believed in his integrity. I’ve heard horror stories about other contractors providing the lowest possible bid only to do a “bait and switch” during the project to increase their profitability.

No issues with Rick. He stuck by the agreed upon price for the project and even went above and beyond on certain areas without charging additional fees. Never once did Rick try to “nickel and dime” me for surcharges.

The Malibu crew were also great. They were always on time and kept the working area clean. The crew respected the house and my family. It helps to also provide them some doughnuts and coffee each morning. 😀 They work extremely hard and even finished the project ahead of schedule.

Now we have a wonderfully cool house during the summer and toasty warm house during the winter. Thanks Rick and Malibu crew. I highly recommend them for any project—big or small.

Rick (the owners) is a lifesaver. Our heater stopped working a few days before Christmas Eve. We were worried we wouldn't have heat to entertain family because it was so close to the holidays. We called Malibu Heating and Air and within an hour Rick was there to help us. He fixed the issue quickly and was super polite. Needed a new system as mine was from the 70s and Malibu Heating and Air Conditioning did an exceptional job. My vents are in my floors and when wanting to keep it that way to prevent having to fix all my floors, Rick and his team were very accommodating and had no issues going under the house and replacing the old duct work. My new system works great and the thermostat is easy to use. I would recommend this company to all my friends and family for their heating and air needs! Thanks

I was looking to install a Mitsubishi HVAC system in my two-story townhome (which was built in 1997 and did not have A/C, only wall heaters, and to be honest I wasn't even sure if there was space to install a central HVAC system). After a site survey, they came up with a very creative solution that uses a ducted-ductless unit for the top floor, and a regular ductless floor unit for the bottom floor, all connected to a single outdoor condenser. They also assisted me with the HOA approval process by dispatching their lead installer Matt onsite to meet with HOA members and answer questions.

When it comes to the actual installation, because new line sets, ducts, and vents need to be installed, I was worried that it might make a mess and make my home look like a construction site, but I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of the crew. They cleaned everything up at the end of each day they were at my home. The only thing I could notice after they wrap up each day was just a little bit of dust here and there, and that was it! There was a tiny problem after the installation (due to a dip switch being in the wrong position), and Matt came right back the next day to troubleshoot the problem and had it resolved. Overall the service offered by Malibu is really hassle-free for anyone leading a busy life, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to upgrade or install an HVAC system.
