Josh and Oscar of Bland Solar did a great job helping us through the process of acquiring solar. They were extremely responsive and professional; they quickly answered all my questions with clear and concise explanations that were easy to understand. I am very pleased with the design and implementation of the system. If I had known how easy the process could be I certainly would not have waited as long as I did to put solar on my house. There are few things as exciting as watching the PGE meter spin backwards! Bland did a great job for our family. Thanks Josh, Oscar and all the fine people at Bland Solar.

I give Bland Co 5 stars, because every step of the way, from bid to installation of a solar system and new upgraded HVAC system, they were a breeze to work with. Hats off to salesman Dan Mello, installers Doug Hunter and his crew. Bland is the most professional and knowledgeable company in this field that I have encountered.👍

I'm very disappointed in Bland Solar Company. We purchased a 32 solar panel system from them and at first all was great. Shortly thereafter we had five solar panels go out, we immediately notified the company, who said they would send out a technician right away. We told them because the five panels had failed it burned up all of our PG&E credits and left us with a $500 bill at that point in time. Long story short, it took Bland three and a half months to replace the failed panels, it cost us $1,500 in PG&E bills, Bland only reimbursed us $500 - leaving the balance for us to pay. A while later we decided to add a power back up unit, naturally we contacted Bland since we purchases our system through them. It took two weeks for them to respond and had a contractor that works part time for them contact us. I had made it clear I needed a sales rep to come out and answer my questions. After a heated discussion on the phone I was told by their part time contractor that I should buy Generac. Bland Solar has failed us on several occasions and I am writing this review so no one else has to go through what we have with Bland Solar. Do not use this company, they will tell you what you want to hear and then disappoint you with their service, over and over again.

We put an offer on the home in Fresno and all was going well until the appraiser said we need to significantly repair or replace the roof before we close.

Under a time crunch due to 45-day escrow closing and my rate lock expiring in a month, I asked Jesse from Bland Company for help—Bland Company, along with HVAC systems, is a solar contractor and roofing contractors which is licensed and trained to take the house's solar panels off and put them back on after replacing the roof.

Within just 3.5 weeks (in this economy), this roofing contractor moved heaven and Earth to meet my timeline, leaving me speechless at the excellent work they did. I'm sure I annoyed Jesse with my continuous requests for updates along the way, but he provided me all the info I needed and was extremely professional while doing so.

It's because of Bland that my wife and I overcame a seemingly insurmountable challenge to purchase our next 10+ -year home. I can't thank them enough for the help, and I'd recommend Bland Company to anyone from Fresno and Merced, to Bakersfield, to the Central Coast in Atascadero, where they are also located.

My A/C had a series of problems, over 8 days, during triple digits. Luckily Jacob was able to plug the leak, refill the fluids, and replace the compressor fan unit.
Also, when I got solar quotes, I got very many, and Colter at Bland's was clearly the best offer. I wound up starting my own solar company, but I must give credit where it is due.

My mother in law had to have a tech come out for an A/C service call. Angel Monjaraz to the rescue! He was very helpful, took the time to explain everything he found, and got her A/C working beautifully. He was very knowledgeable and was very careful to check not just the obvious, but also things others may have skipped. We will request him in the future, as he was so respectful and personable with my MIL, and put her mind at ease. Thank you Angel!

Kris with Bland Solar met with me at my house back in early September personally apologized for the service issues that I was having with my system. He reviewed those system issues, and committed that Bland Solar would get any problems fully resolved. After installing additional equipment to eliminate line noise interference they confirmed that I did have a number of defective solar panels and worked on getting those all replaced. After replacement panels were were installed, my system is now running at full production capacity.

I still have a few microinverters that are still problematic and they are working directly with the manufacturer to get those repaired. Given the responsiveness these past few weeks, I am confident this issue will get resolved soon.

It sounds like the initial delays that I experienced were due to some staff turn-over issues, but they have quickly stepped up and did a fabulous job with my service needs!

Bland is fantastic! Quick service and honest employees. They don’t try to sell you anything not needed.

We used Bland for our solar installation here in Los Angeles. They were professional and great customer service. The reason we decided to use this company is it is an employee owned company. They have a really good team of people working together.
We already are seeing the saving on our electric bill!
