My realtor recommended D&S to fix a problem with my system prior to listing my house. I had already paid a big chain to come diagnose the issue but they couldn’t figure it out. D&S on the other hand took the time to identify the failing part and finally resolve the issue.
I was so impressed with Will’s honesty and fairness with that service call that a year later, I called D&S to give me an estimate for replacing the system in my new house. Will was quick to come out and get back with his proposal. His price was fair and his team came out quickly and did a great job. Highly recommend giving them a call.

We had them come initially when our ac was out. They came and replaced the capacitor, the next day our system went out again and we called back. They came out and said they put in incorrect capacitor and replaced it free of charge.
A few weeks later our ac stopped again. The tech came out and said our Freon was low and put a different non-r22 mix. We asked if there was a leak so we wouldn’t just be doing a band aid. He said there was no evidence of a leak - despite being low on Freon - and he didn’t look very hard and he said gauges wouldn’t help.
Later that day our AC stopped working again so we called a different company. Today we got a bill for $465 for the Freon replacement.

Updated review... We used to use this company regularly and were really happy with both the service and the charges. We called them to service 2 of our houses and didn't believe they showed up to either. Four months later (yes, 4!) we receive a bill in the mail stating with charges totalling over $1000 and claims that they serviced both. They did not let our tenants know they were there, they did not call to tell us what was wrong and what services they would be performing. We did NOT give them permission to do the work and charge us the amounts they did. We didn't even know they had come, but had already called another A/C company to service the A/Cs (and paid them over $1000). After we received the invoices for the work they claimed to have done, we called to work through the disputed charges. They still insist we owe them for the work and have now turned us over to a credit agency. REALLY!?! You don't have time to call and let the customer know you are there and what work is required and what it will cost. But are able to hire a credit agency to collect on a disputed charge? I'll also be filing a complaint with ROC and BBB. Really disappointed in this company and their office practices.

Would not heat above 68 degrees and freezing temps outside. Technician changed a capacitor and said filter looked good. Did not solve problem of not heating to set temp. Called the company back after 3 hours of no improvement. Said they were too busy to come back. Came the next day and said needed thousands of dollars of work and parts only under warranty thru that day. Called another company out. Dirty filter completely clogged (construction dust). Heat worked immediately after removing filter.

Johnnie couldn't have been treated me any better! Quick, thorough, and professional! She assigned David to be our tech and he got right to the issue in short order. It seems we inherited a less then professional install from the previous owners. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it and would have been in and out if it weren't for me asking so many questions. The Family is nice and cool again! D and S Air is my go to source for all things A/C!

I used these guys regularly to service my old swamp cooler, and then had them make the switch to ac for us! Very satisfied with their work! Recently my work AC also needed service and they came out quickly and got it fixed right away. Very important in this AZ heat!

All employees and the technician performing the work were knowledgeable, professional and friendly! Apppreciated the level of detail they walked me through during our service, as well a fair and reasonable cost. Would recommend to anyone needing repair or maintenance.

The company does NOT have a Website, I talked to their 'phone answering person' who could not provide me with any info on who they are, what they sell, what brands of Heat Pump they service or sell.
So, I asked for a written estimate for my location and got a one page letter telling me that a repair to my existing Heat Pump would cost nearly 1/3 MORE than the other estimates I had received, and if I wanted a new unit it would cost $xxxx.xx, which is ok except again the estimate did NOT tell me what I was buying, but did state it was for a unit that was 0.5 ton less than any of the others quoted.
Is short, very unprofessional company, and I would recommend against using it.

Unreliable.. Was promised an estimate for replacing an air conditioner in a rental property. Called next day and they were working on it, promised it later that day. Same thing on day 3. Meanwhile, my renters were sweltering. Now they do not even return my calls and I've had to another company out. Avoid this company!

I use D&S for all my air conditioning needs. They are reasonably priced and they know what they are doing.
