I have always had good experience with the Beltline Northern Tool store. Stopped in today to exchange a stool I had purchased.
Nick and Tori were very helpful in getting the paperwork in order and supplied another unit. The sales and customer service at this location is exceptional.

Anytime I need replacement parts for their equipment they don't have it and I wait 3 months and finally get a refund. basically stopped purchasing here might as well be harbor freight, but they even have parts . Northern tool owns the parts company jacks small engine that has a hard time providing replacement parts

Decent selection, VERY EXPENSIVE, terrible customer service when I asked if they would price match an item, that was 25% more expensive than other places and they would not. So I took my business elsewhere.

TERRIBLE experience with this company in general. Ordered something online because they didn’t carry it in-store and was given a 1-2 week estimate delivery date. I ended up not getting it for nearly 5 weeks. Customer service was horrible. Emailed me back until I asked to speak with corporate and then began ignoring my emails. Walmart has better customer service than this company.

If you have an issue with your product, don’t expect customer service to care. You can spend $200 and they’ll still ignore you when they decide they don’t want to email you back. This business is a joke. I’ve never ever had a company intentionally ignore my customer service product issue.

EDIT: I wish we had seen all the bad reviews about returns and customer service before. Take notice! It is not just one person, one bad experience, they seemingly do this to lots of people. I only went here because the had the cheapest price, now I know why.
I liked the store but have problems with the quality of items sold. They sold my boyfriend a defective chain saw. (pull handle came off) When he tried to return it for a replacement two hours later, the assistant manager said it was not defective and asked what he was supposed to do with a broken tool. My boyfriend asked why they would not return it to the manufacturer, and was told the store did not want to get the manufacturer involved and that the tool would have to be sent to another city over an hour away to get it repaired. No replacement. No refund.
